My partner and I are just starting up selling alternative (rock, goth, punk, you get the idea!) clothing, accessories, giftware etc online through a shop and auction sites! Stressful, but it's great being able to do your own thing!

We both have experience with web design and sites, retail, admin, accounts so will be running the various aspects of business ourselves, with advice from the local enterprise trust and other small business resources (and, of course, MSE!)

I am the internet marketing manager for a wholesale company, developing, promoting and managing their online cash n carry and ebay shop. At home i run a small online internet retail business selling giftware and toys and also design web solutions for businesses.
I'm also a session drummer and manage my sons band.
In my spare time i sleep.

I've my own lingerie company website and on eBay - selling all the big brands like some of he more well known sites but with a more personal service if you need it.

It keeps me at home with the children and as times change the business evolves, it is not going to make us a million but as I said, it keeps me at home with the kids which is better for them. But.... I could not imagine going to work for someone again. It is nice to fit the work into my day instead of fitting my day into work

Well, that lot are a damned hard act to follow!

I run a website or two that provide information. Main one needs a complete overhaul/change of hosting, but I've just sold up and relocated myself 200 miles up country to be closer to good transport/communications links and services. . . and people!

I am a Prince2 Practitioner, with past specialisms in bank mergers/acquisitions and elearning. One of my main reasons for relocating was to go back to contracting for 3-5 years, unless a great permie job presents itself.

Open to further relocations, although I appear to be happy enough where I am, so not looking to move on, but my Plan A was to chase the work, so never say never.

Right now, just moved into my 4th address in 3 months, so finally going to get a telephone, broadband and a full-sized PC back up and running, so the rest of this year will see me looking for IT contracting work and using my spare time to move my web businesses forward to the next level as I can really focus on them now I am post-disruption!

I'm the Director of a company that manufactures / retails a range of Wormeries (we invented the first domestic Wormery nearly 20 years ago), Composting Bins (Rotationally Moulded in Devon) and Waterbutts (to name our 3 main ranges).

Most business is online, or mail order. Also deal with Local Authorities and trade to Garden Centres, other mail order / online companies.
