IMHO, Ragu sauces are inferior to Dolmio. Ragu list first ingredient as WATER whereas Dolmio first ingredient is Tomatoes (76%). There was an offer on Dolmio at ASDA and Morrisons few weeks ago.
  • As soon as I saw this, I shot up, and had a huge list of all the goodies. Obviously I was too late. Absolutely NOTHING!

Not anyones fault, but it would be nice if things like this could be fired off, when they come in, not when the newsletter goes out??

Tell a Lie, I did get the Mincemeat for 64p!!

This thread was started on 29th May. The newsletter did not go out until 7th June. You really need to check the board daily to catch the offers. Some you win some you lose. :)

I found Asda CBY Black forest cupcake mix today for 50p. Still had lots of the pasta sauce and ragu in B@rking asda, plus bacon bits, some of the caramel rice sachets and I got the last bottle of nando's garlic perinaise.

    Hi all,
Just wanted to let you all know a liitle known tip.
Always check your receipt in Asda.
If any item has gone through the till at the wrong price make time to go to the customer service desk and point it out.
You are given a refund of the overcharge plus a £2 gift card.
I bought 2 meat and potato pies, reduced to 10p. They went through at £1.40, refund of £1.30 plus £2 voucher.
Asda paid me £1.90 to buy them:money:
Vouchers are valid same amount of tme as a gift card.

Shop between 5pm and 7pm when most fresh goods and bread are drastically reduced.

    Every little helps:D

I thought it was Asda's policy to give a refund of the overcharge, plus a £2 gift card FOR EACH OVERCHARGE, therefore you should have received two gift cards.

I got a £2 card for out of date sweet pastry. It was dated 31/10/2011!!

    New find I think:
