  • :( Went to my local Asda but they didn't seem to have as many bargains, and while I did pick up a few items, Mexican Micro Rice - 50p an Mission Mango Dip - 25p, I think I ended up spending £30 on things that I wouldn't really have bought if they were not on sale, so I'm not sure my forage was as successful.

Maybe because it's a coastal town? It looks like the London stores hold more bargains.

I agree that most of the RTC's are this I wouldn't normally buy, but my stockpile is looking great as a result. I am also going to using these items as hamper fillers for family at xmas time :)
    Looking for a fresh start

Went to Asda Great Bridge (West Midlands) and the reduced items were a little thin on the ground but still managed to pick up the following:

Creative cooks wine reduction, muscat & saffron 25p
    Duerr's wholegrain mustard 49p
Cooks & Co stuffed vine leaves £1
    Wasabi paste 66p
Knorr Touch of taste stock in bottle (all flavours) 99p
Whole Earth chocolate & hazelnut spread 25p
Asda Ginger & plum stir fry sauce 25p
    Bartons spreadable piccalilli 41p

They also had the Asda brand Angle delight type mixes for 11p but not much else.

Most of the reductions were in the International food aisle at the end by the magazines.

Went to Asda today and found they'd stocked up on some of the Good Stuff pasta and the garlic and basil linguine.

    They also had
212943.jpg Reduced to 50p, which I hadn't seen at that price previously despite looking in that area.
There's a storm coming, Mr Johnson. You and your friends better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.

The Capri Sun I have is the orange juice drinks packs of 5 not the 100% juice ones

Visited another Asda today and found Chicken Tonight, low fast honey mustard as someone else said and also Classic Chasseur flavour for 40p.

Also Country Wise Kentish Cider and Apple (I think that was name, it also had mustard in so don't know if that figured in name - I didn't buy) cooking sauce for 25p.

Also Asda Extra Special salad dressings, Pesto & Balsamic Dressing and French Dressing, both marked at 62p, I bought a Pesto one and it scanned at 25p but on getting home noticed the BBE date was May 2012 so will probably take it back next time I go.
  • Am so going to my local asda tomorrow afternoon! We have two, one is about 5 mins away the other 10 so i might try both!

Found this today for 62p in Asda, Albero Antico Extra Virgin Olive Oil 750ml5000232845436_21000_IDShot_2.jpeg
  • Called in on my way home from work to my local Asda and picked up Dr Oetkers Blueberry Fruit Flakes for 25p a pack, perfect for Blueberry Muffins. Also Asda Lemon Cupcake Frosting Kit for 75p, cheaper than making the topping myself.
