The Hoi Sin stir fry sauce is nice. I am not normally a fan of ready-made sauces, but we needed an easy dinner the other night and I did that with some chicken and stir fry veg. It went down v well and I am going to pop in later to see if they have any more

Rimmel Instant Light was £3 now £1.50 reduced to clear, the tubes a decent size i believe it was 150ml i didn't get it but have used it before and it's good!

Many of the bargains had sold out tonight, but I did manage to get some Ragu sauce (40p/jar) and some reggae reggae dipping sauce (25p/bottle) oh and some own make chicken stock cubes for 25p

Asda Lancaster have the lemon frosting but I didn't think it was worth 75p to me. I got some Sweet and Sour and Ginger and Garlic stir fry sauces for 24p each (bottom shelve under Schwartz sachets) and a jar of mango chutney for 50p, also a jar of mild curry sauce for 23p (although I'm sure at one time they were selling them for about 11p!)
Also they had some bottles of Fairtrade Chardonnay reduced to £2.99 a bottle.

Thanks to all who have posted info and where to find things, , will see what else I can find tomorrow as didn't have much time today.

Being nightshift i would say go for 7-8am if you can, it's the night team who put out the delivery, day people tend to go over what's left that wouldn't fit on the shelf before. It was all sold out last week then all the ragu and chicken tonight turned up friday night so was on the shelves saturday when they opened at 7.

Oh I forgot, they had the lemon frosting too for 75p, but only enough for 6 cakes and I tend to do batches of 18, so maybe not that cheap.

I also read the ingredient list and there seemed to be lots gubbins!

If they were 25p, I might have been tempted for when I forget work cake days....
