They had quite a few jars of ragu at my asda, they'd ran out before and removed the tickets as well so wasn't expecting to get any. They also had the honey & mustard chicken tonight and the low fat version which they had none of a couple of days before
Gonna try my local one tomorrow, it's only a small one but it's worth a look!0 -
I found some garlic linguini today for 19p reduced from a pound. After seeing the other posts on here, I wish I had hunted around a bit more, but I'm 26 weeks pregnant and all I wante dto do was go home and get on the sofa! will be keeping my eyes peeled in future!0

I thought it was Asda's policy to give a refund of the overcharge, plus a £2 gift card FOR EACH OVERCHARGE, therefore you should have received two gift cards.
As in an earlier post - I bought 2 of their own Angel Delight - Strawberry and Banana for 11p - the ticket stated that and scanned at 44p each. Got a gift card for £4.66 - 66p for the 2x33p overcharge and 2x£2 for 'compensation'.
Redeemed this gift card on Friday when buying about £9.50 worth of items - £3.50-£4 was on clearance items and the rest was things like fresh apricots (shame such as short season), bananas, a greetings card and a couple of Doritos dips.0 -
I work on the checkouts at my local ASDA, and got told to come here after a customer was putting through some amazing bargains that I never knew existed! I'll be sure to post any more I come across on here if I see any coming through my checkout. :cool2:0

Asda store in Birkenhead had lots of ragu sauces at 40p this morning including white sauce for lasagne. They also had a large selection of chicken tonight at 40p. They were on the usual aisle.
Only wipes I could find where 4 packs of pampers sensitive or normal reduced to clear at £3.50 in the baby aisle.
I managed to get one thomas cake mix at 50p, there was no price ticket for this and the barbie cake mix still showed at full price.
I found carnation 400g tins of evaporated milk RTC at 50p.
Lots of the kingmill trays at the front of the storeMum, wife and dinnerlady!0 -
I just bought the Stout and Mushroom sauce in A$da $lough only to find it's out of date - well the BB date anyway. Not really fussed as if it isn't green or furry in our house it's classed as ok, but something to watch out for.
No Ragu and some of the Lloyd Grossman Tomato and Garlic out of reach on the very top shelf, but I've got so much pasta sauce atm I thought I'd leave that for someone at a later date anyway.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hey Folks!
we in the Old Kent Road, London, ASDA today and they're selling Sacla Italia Green Pesto for 50p a pot, usual RRP around £2.
Apparently ASDA will be discontinuing the line (I checked the website, and it looks as if generic 'pesto verde' will be replaced by particular types) but if you're nearby, or you're popping by an ASDA anyway, worth checking out. I'm afraid I don't know if other ASDA's have already sold out/ever carried the line.
Date on the jars is 31/1/13, so you've got a six months or so to eat them! Me? I've stocked up on £5 worth...Gonna be eating a lot of gnocchi in the near future...0 -
So after my shift on the checkouts today, and 2 hours trawling round the store I work at, I come baring goodies for you ladies and gents! I'm still seeing some of what's been listed in this thread so far, though some of it is just on Rollback to good prices rather than being reduced. I took note of all the stuff I don't remember seeing on here, so apologies if any of it has already been covered. Anything I list is just the reduced stuff and not rollback.
Bell's Haggis Rounds (pies - probably Scotland only) - 50p
Schwartz Slow Cooker packets, various - 35p
ASDA CBY Tomato & Olice stir-through sauce - 40p
Ocean Spray 3x300ml - 50p
Duerrs Jams (raspberry/apricot, not seedless varieties) - 64p
ASDA CBY Houmous topped with pesto - 50p
There were also some other jams and preserves reduced, but were still quite expensive even though they were less than half price.
I also managed to pick up some of the raspberry flavouring, the Fruji jelly pots (which are delicious!), some of the chocolate rice pudding packets, and some of the mexican green rice.0 -
Just a note about the out of date stuff by the way, it is against ASDA's policy to sell anything that is out of date, and they can actually be fined for this. Please take anything that is sold out of date back so you can be reimbursed/compensated etc, as human error does happen.0
