Hello Middy, thanks for the info. I'll get my raincoat ready for tomorrow. Hopefully, there will be some goodies left for me!
You can't have everything....where would you put it?

    Hi all,
Just wanted to let you all know a liitle known tip.
Always check your receipt in Asda.
If any item has gone through the till at the wrong price make time to go to the customer service desk and point it out.
You are given a refund of the overcharge plus a £2 gift card.
I bought 2 meat and potato pies, reduced to 10p. They went through at £1.40, refund of £1.30 plus £2 voucher.
Asda paid me £1.90 to buy them:money:
Vouchers are valid same amount of tme as a gift card.

Shop between 5pm and 7pm when most fresh goods and bread are drastically reduced.

    Every little helps:D

Tjsgran - If I approach customer service, do I point out that other Asda stores are selling these particular items cheaper, then i'll get refunded? I get confused so easily..

I'm trying my best to persuade my mum that we should go shopping later in the evening instead of our early morning jaunt, so we can get better bargains, we are quite low in money this week.

Just nipped round to Gmouth store near my work, not a lot there tbh. All the ragu and chicken tonight were empty shelves, the GFY bolognese was scanning at £1 (girl reduced it to 25p cos the shelf ticket said 25p)

I noticed a lot of things listed on here were reduced, but still double the price that people have got them at. IE, Greens lemon pie filling reduced to 39p, people on here have got it for 19p. Saffron was £4 odds, reduced to £2.66, people on here got it for 66p.

Still, happy to pay my reduced prices, going to go to my local store tonight when I get home, taking the mother in law cos she loves bargains as much as me :T

Thanks to everyone for the prices and pics etc etc x
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
