They also had a 1kg jar of Asda's baby beetroot for £1. Which is 2p more than the 440g jar.
Didn't buy it as I could tell from the size of the jar, it would not fit into my cupboard.0 -
These asda deals sound great. How did you find them out. Were they marked down on your receipt or on the shelves? Exited to find out!!
The prices are printed on the ticket. But Asda has a thing with not ticketing every product. If you see some flavours of a product which are reduced and can't find a ticket for the one you see, take it down the checkouts with you. Ask the cashier to do a price enquiry. If you don't like the price, you don't have to buy it!
It happened to me with a jar of olives and jalapenos. The others on the shelf made by the same company were 55p a jar, I saw no ticket and it scanned at £1.39 and asked the guy on ss to void it off.0 -

Forgot to mention we also found the really big squeeze bottle of hellman's light mayonnaise for 68p in one of the smaller stores
Has been £2.68 ish in all other stores I've looked in
Also saw a Nivea lip balm single darkish blue colour reduced to clear at 62p
Was still too expensive for me!
Also can anyone tell me the size of the Capri sun in the first post?
Is it the 10 pack?
Many thanks for the thread MT
Shame Martin has included it in his email:(

Hi there. I found this thread thanks to the Martin's Money Tips email this afternoon. I thought I'd be out of luck but bumped into a couple of other people with lists.
I think I have 3 new finds for you at 50p each:
Green's Barbie Cupcake Mix (283g)
Green's Thomas & Friends Vanilla Cake Kit (205g)
McDougalls Disney Pixar Cars 2 Cupcake Kit (208g)
I also got 2 types of Maggi sachets:
Herb & Garlic - 44p
Chilli Chicken - 99p > I've only noticed now I'm home but I could have sworn it was around 40p as well.
The dark chocolate & strawberry spreads were full price at £1ish. I hope that helps as I never normally post on here.No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
