In my Asda the various products are where they would normally be in the shop with other items of the same type, no special shelf for the these type of reduced items.

My Asda did have a special 'chicken tonight' shelf, separate from other shelving, (red) with all the chicken tonight on...and one jar of piri piri tomato sauce which was spotted by a canny shopper;)

some items reduced in other Asda stores are still full price in mine BTW (another former Netto, not been open long)

I went back to ASDA today to get some of the new stuff. Found: Lemon Juice 20p,
cranberry sauce 30p (whole not smooth),
packets of maggi honey and mustard baking stuff 22p,
A spice grinding thing that was £2 + reduced to 52p.

The following scanned at full price for me:
    Colmans seafood sauce £1
    Colmans horseradish sauce £1
Capri sun juice 2 for £4
    Ribena 10's £2
    Greens lemon curd mix 39p

If you see a member of staff holding a little black scanning thing, they can price items for you
Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)

In My asda (so I assume in all)

the SEL are WHITE and, on the right hand side of the label are marked REDUCED TO CLEAR

this makes them easier to spot
