i think the site is really badly operated, and is probably shooting itself in the foot. because it looks like tickets are available, there are tens of thousands of people attempting to buy the tickets which is in turn just putting silly strain on their servers, with constant hopeless attempts having to be processed. in turn this leads to people wasting huge amounts of time and getting frustrated.
if they just accurately told you what was available and removed the things which were sold out when they actually are sold out (instead of 2 hours later) then it would be a darn sight better for everyone involved.0 -
Yep, the site's dreadful. I neglected to make a note of my seat number for the closing ceremony ticket for my husband that I bought last night. Since then, I've been unable to access my account and see the ticket info. I know the sale has gone through because I have an e-mail to take to the box office, but some info on where my £150 has gone would be nice. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Alternatively it demoralises a lot of people who then give up meaning I get to see even more!0 -

??? but then I saw Nikkster had replied as it was to her post
The opticians idea is a very good one and I would do it. My dad just went for a routine eye test and they were very knowledgable.
You never know.....for an hour of your time could be worth doing as they may see something. It's always possible it is unrelated to your current condition.
I can tell you're concerned but the a+e idea may not work as it depends on what they have in. If you can sit ok and aren't on the floor in agony it can be a long long wait and then you may see someone who hasn't much idea of the things to do with your symptoms. Aain though, nothing ventured and all that so worth a try too.PasturesNew wrote: »No... I don't listen to music.
Laptop's here... no headphones though. Currently got 'proper broadband' for awhile as there's wifi here.
I prefer to lie in silence listening to the sounds of the night.... it's the inability to wander that does my nut in. I am a wanderer....
I am sure he wouldn't mind you popping downstairs in the night and popping outside...he probably wouldn't hear you..unless he has an alarm set up.
How about a bit of house-hunting to while away the time here:) am desp to check out some houses.HAMISH_MCTAVISH wrote: »If any NP are overseas, ................................
Hi Hamish I had a bet on how many units you drank last Friday (depending on the quality of your working week).
I'll have another one tomorrow so could you keep count and take a few secs to drop in over the weekend so I can pay myself out (or not)0 -
Ack.
Lots of athletics been put on and got an option on the £450 for the night that inc the last round of heptathlon but wanted the £150 ones.
Can't justify £450.0 -

these are £75 and seem to be for Stratford + Greenwich park in the aftrenoon. Hope my link works0 -
Site is creaking now. Getting the dreaded 15 mins or more waiting time.0

at the moment i can put tons of stuff in my basket but when you try to request tickets it just does nothing.
there are velodrome tickets available as well, but i can't go to any of the sessions this weekend, and it won't let you try to request them from the basket anyway.
eventually by a process of trial and error i have managed to get it requesting tickets for the athletics on monday night, but it took so long to get there that the chance of getting tickets is now 0.0 -
Can now request the cycling tickets but still the 15min wait. Just too many people on the site.
Get orf you plebs. It's not worth it I tell you.
And just a few mins later the cycling ones I wanted are gone.
Grrrr.
Guess I've been super lucky up til now0 -
