Is cycling your new favourite sport chewy?
When we went to London Prepares and we saw Hoy on the podium getting gold, he was looking all around the arena, taking it in and you could see his mind thinking "in a couple of months time" and he's gone and done it. I prefer road racing if I'm honest, the track is ok but the ridiculously strict rules make it a lottery. Who cares if someone's wheel was 2cm too far forward half way around? They cycled the distance required in the fastest time, what else matters.
The omnium is my favourite track event - are they actually doing that in these games, I seem to recall it being dropped.
I'm also resentful because I didn't get a ticket for the velodrome and all the people in there look like tools (particularly that familiar looking chap in a suit sitting at the end of the row the princes are on).0 -

Omnium is my fave too. It is definitely in (as a new entrant to replace races like Madison) and we have a good chance in both the men's and women's.
