    I've been Money Tipped!

I LOVE curry - hot's fine, but I'm more about flavour and prefer to come away from a meal knowing it tasted lovely rather than knowing I was the dubble 'ard b4st4rd that ate the hottest :)

me too. Exactly. My favourite curry is a summer tirnip curry, light but flavoursome. Mmmm.

Still scrolling through places to live.... now onto hotels again.... looks like I might be paying £2500 for July/August at the cheapest places (aka: dives) ..... or buy a tent. But it's raining all summer, so a tent's not appealing.

Is it not worth moving just a bit inland for renting, while you are near enough to suss out something you would prefer to make more longterm? Just a bit cheaper?

Over the past few years I got into a habit of picking whatever had mushrooms in it when I went out to eat - worked in Whitechapel so if we went out for food it was generally a curry :)

Mince and mushroom curry is my favourite whenever I go back to Glasgow, whose curries I miss. Nothing wrong with a spinachy saag. Always fancied being a southern curryspondent for one of the Glasgow curry blogs.

I could review Tayyabs (Nikksters favourite ) or the India Club (ndg's favourite)
Actually my mouths watering just thinking of the stuff.
As they say up there- Keep Calm and Curry On. :)

Do you get the idea that I felt quite deprived?!

The first night after moving back here my mum laid on a mushroom extravaganza (possibly curry I think).

I had three types of mushrooms in my dinner tonight :D
(I think that will have definitely blown my chances with lemonjelly :p)

    Oh yes, I love mushrooms!

Going to get round to doing that .... but it's very slow to search for anything to be honest.

The trouble with renting is that the sharing type sites, people just don't get back to you ... and that's if you find a 'match' in the first instance... so moving the location won't change that. With cheap B&Bs, as I'm already looking at cheap, it'd be harder to get cheaper by going inland... it's just "the silly season" all round.

I was trying to concentrate on the preferred area at first just to simplify things and make sure I didn't miss a trick ....
