One part of me says yes. Another part says "you have a collection of christmas music?" (I said similar to a friend, who also has a collection of christmas music last year. I cannot understand this concept, as christmas music is everywhere anyway, so why bother? That said, I have a lemon jelly dj set off the radio done at christmas which is very seasonal, & I always get it out in mid december...)

carpy christmas music is everywhere. I like mainly classical christmas music, and want to hear particular things at particular times, Things you traditionally listen to or sing during advent forexample. I want to be able to choose what seasonal music i listen too. Dh has some jazz christmas music...less often played. In cluding a TERRIBLE rendition of Silver Bells, that i take the piddle out of and think i might have quite spoiled for him.

Incidentally i also ruined a cheesy popy dance tune he liked by singing it as a DFS advert every time it came on. He cannot listen to it now with out thinking of ugly sofas on sale.

    Appreciate that.

The easy option, is not always the right option. It may be easy to turn a blind eye, but the issue doesn't get resolved.

Problems to people are always important. You will get through it. You will be welcome to moan to us here about it for support. It'll be ok.:)

Agreed, but sometimes it is also importnant to let others learn to carry themselves, having disentangled things like finances, and say I am sorry...the ball is in my court and i am swapping from tennis to squash.

    I am only guessing, but.....

Pretty good - something along those lines. The disentangling of finances is unfortunately likely to be a long-term project :(

Well I think our CD organisation is compatible, but do I remember that lj is in the 'no mushroom' NP camp? Having had almost 5 years of not being able to eat them due to someone else, I think that would be a dealbreaker I'm afraid. You'll have to keep your hat in its box until Chewy sends out the invites :D

We have a friend who told us he always took a girl out for a curry as an early date, if she couldn't manage a reasonably hot curry that marked the end of the relationship. I would have failed at the first hurdle, I don't eat curries.

I fell for a girl that didn't eat curry, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt, because she was prepared to date a bloke that smoked. cool-smiley-007.gif

Now, there's almost no restriction on what we eat, except she won't touch liver, and I find some of her vegetarian stuff is only acceptable with added sausage, if you'll pardon the expression. ;)

No one's allowed to smoke anywhere near us though!

Sorry I can't be terribly nice ATM. Will be back more after DD's wedding.

Meanwhile just popping in to tell Jelly that I have edible tomatoes! :p:D

Say it ain't so! Not even a korma (described on "Gavin and Stacey" as a "waste of a curry"?)

    ;)

I LOVED the Gavin and Stacey curry sketch.... Smiffy was SPOT ON about everybody else wanting what he's ordered, yet not ordering it themselves.

I LOVE curry - hot's fine, but I'm more about flavour and prefer to come away from a meal knowing it tasted lovely rather than knowing I was the dubble 'ard b4st4rd that ate the hottest :)

Still scrolling through places to live.... now onto hotels again.... looks like I might be paying £2500 for July/August at the cheapest places (aka: dives) ..... or buy a tent. But it's raining all summer, so a tent's not appealing.
