Got back in a short while ago from our first uni open day....the up shot of it is it has become James' first choice instead of second choice. He loved the place, the course is exactly what he is looking for, no bad points at all, the staff are great, the surroundings are very conducive to a creative mind and it is probably going to be a fair bit cheaper for student living than what was his first choice as it is further out from London.

I am blooming knackered though, been such a long day with lots of moving about (even though I did take the wheelchair)...and I have the grand total of 20p in my purse until Monday.

Now, can someone explain to me how I got creative, arty children?* I am not the least bit creative!

Middle son is very musically talented and youngest has moved on from doing his own animations to recording, editing and uploading video games on the net and at present, creating his own online game!

Personally, I think it has something to do with you giving them the space and encouragement to be themselves, and not to think about what they can't do but what they want to he able to do.

Do I remember correctly that what was the 2nd choice is in the E Mids? If so, that is where I was an undergrad (but different uni). Great place :)

    Yes... smaller and 0 horns.
But... if I do go out, I have to check he doesn't leave too .... so if I come back and he's "loose", I could be waiting some time before I can open the gate, drive through, get out and close the gate again.

As it is, it's so dark/wet/poo'ey out there anyway, it's another reason not to venture out after dark whatsoever..... and why??? price... equivalent of just £650/month, rather than all the rest that were nudging £2-3k. And it's not for long.

    Seconded....
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

LIR ... just go ... it's the only way you'll get a quiet life :)

And your OH LOVES 'looking after you' - so this counts as that too... it'll make him feel all warm and fuzzy to be able to look after you by making you sit in a horrid/uncomfortable place with annoying people ...
