I log all jobs, so his bank statements and my log should automatically add up for what's on the card.
He's in pain, and we won't do him as a company, following an incident involving the windscreen of my sisters car on Christmas Eve a few years back (jumped in, took him to shop, he got abusive and refused to pay, ended up in a 6 month old Audi Q7 being broken). I always check balance before I do the shopping now, but won't have him in my taxi.

Well, it's probably fine if he has made you a card signatory.
The trouble is that we live in an era where if you see a child fall over in the park you have to think twice about helping. In this case, you could easily be asked awkward questions - 'Prove that you only bought stuff for Colin and nothing for yourself' - 'Prove that he authorised you to take £10 for yourself'. It's all fine helping him at the moment, but then suddenly you can be cast as the villain of the piece, taking advantage of somebody who trusted you...... (I'm not suggesting that you are, by the way.)No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Are you a Ry Cooder fan, lir? I noticed on other threads there are loads of moaners whinging away about how they've earned this and that and how productive they've been and how everybody sponges off them.
Once that happens I find myself thinking of actually productive people here like yourself and davesnave and I know not who else. Then I think of these lyrics here, especially verse 5 line 3.

Does that mean you got it back? (or did I completely misinterpret)

Got back in a short while ago from our first uni open day....the up shot of it is it has become James' first choice instead of second choice. He loved the place, the course is exactly what he is looking for, no bad points at all, the staff are great, the surroundings are very conducive to a creative mind and it is probably going to be a fair bit cheaper for student living than what was his first choice as it is further out from London.
I am blooming knackered though, been such a long day with lots of moving about (even though I did take the wheelchair)...and I have the grand total of 20p in my purse until Monday.
Now, can someone explain to me how I got creative, arty children?* I am not the least bit creative!
Middle son is very musically talented and youngest has moved on from doing his own animations to recording, editing and uploading video games on the net and at present, creating his own online game!We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

i'm actively looking for napalm, as I appear to have a rather large patch overgrown with ivy. I'm sure we have bluebells in there somewhere but it might be choked by the ivy0

I like the idea tha things as ruthless in their takeover as bluebells can be chocked by something. Even though i love bluebells.
And you have reminded me that i need to do some ivy stripping from trees i wantto keep.0
