There are loads of them though, posh paints. Fired earth have a range, little greene, and even laura ashley, for the high street with big price tag market.

My split face tile sample arrived today, just the marble, they did not send the limestone. I love it. A lot. But i think i want limestone.

Eitherway, not sure how you make it waterproof, as they sit tightly on a mesh, like modern mosaic tile, but without a gap for grout. Hmmm, not sure that is a great idea.:(

I learnt whilst randomly browsing the boards yesterday that farrow and ball used to make the paint for Laura Ashley. Never thought I'd get to share that gem of information with anyone!

Ha,thats interesting! I wonder if they are the same pigment density etc.

My fear with lines like that is that the colour will no longer be available i the future and might be quite design trend lead. There are some nice colours on the paint chart from l.a. though.

I had a quick look. 2.5litres of White Gloss F&B is about £48. Bog standard white gloss is £10.

I had NO IDEA there was stuff that was "posh paint".

So we need to think of a product that hasn't been posh-ed yet. Triple the price and sit back and wait for £££££.

F and b gloss would be a waste of money. Matt is what they do best. :). For a lover of traditional white it would also be disappointing imo. But i might do a white bedroom with f and b whites because personally i don't think normal 'white' works that well in uk outside of cornwall. In the med white looks stunning.

I immediately thought of gardening equipment but was appalled to find that someone's already selling posh versions of it:eek:

Oyster card holders! Everybody needs one! Like a wallet but only for one card- has anyone designed a posh version of that yet?
