I buy supermarket own brand baked beans, no salt/no added sugar. And now I find Heinz a bit "stodgy". When on the cheap, they can be picked up in packs of 4 for £1.25. Tesco and Asda do them.... I've no idea about Sainsburys.0

I wish supermarkets would have constant, ongoing tasting sessions on everything.... thousands of products .. that you can't buy as it'd be a waste of money if you didn't like them
In late the 1970s I tried a Homepride tin of some sauce or other - hated it. Now I stare at the rows and rows of such sauces in bottles and cans and wonder if, somewhere in there, there's actually now a decent one.0

Anybody else watching this Phil Spencer programme about Emtpty Properties and homelessness on More4? I've just randomly found it.
I'm technically homeless - and have probably counted as such for nearly 3 years now. But I'm "doing OK" homeless.0

Hmm. I am horrified to the point of gagging at ketchup o eggs or breakfast. Other than a bacon sandwich.
I like ketchup on a burger but cannot think what else. Maybe a hotdog. Ketchup is mainly used a an ingrediant here...i use a teaspoon in pasta sauce when dh isn't looking, and in a couple of other things.0

I'd use ketchup on chips and burgers mostly. I might have a small blob of it on a plate if I had fish fingers, mash and peas... or a splash on a cooked breakfast maybe. If I've got a bottle, then I might randomly chuck a bit of it into a chilli or a soup or a stir-fry.
If I've just got a slice of hot fritata I might add a dash to the edge of the plate, if I've nothing else better in the cupboard.
I tend to have brown sauce on macaroni cheese.0
