No chance of that! A while back I noticed a lot of my store cupboard ingredients were nearing expiry and I ended up spaghetti pomodoro for about 4 weeks. Fortunately I love spaghetti pomodoro and I made many subtle nuances in the ingredients... Ah, lovely. You'll be pleased to hear that I have restocked to avoid any world tomato shortages:o.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? I bought some of those the other month as they were cheap and the no sugar/no salt ones weren't available..... and they were absolutely minging.... had to force my way through FOUR !!!!!!!' tins!!!!The Professional Shopper he say in taste tests people prefer Branston beans to Heinz and they are often available at 1.27 for 4 tins and not that unusual £1 for 4.
Four tins is twelve bl00dy meals of cr4p beans.0

I like ketchup on a burger but cannot think what else. Maybe a hotdog. Ketchup is mainly used a an ingrediant here...i use a teaspoon in pasta sauce when dh isn't looking, and in a couple of other things.
Usually ketchup ruins things for me. Can't stand it on bacon sandwiches, and think it makes chips worse. However I do put it in pasta sauces esp spag bol although expect te same effect could be achieved by adding some sugar.
Ketchup mixed with mayo is better for chips. Mostly I prefer stuff without condiments though (although I did go through a phase of sweet corn relish on burgers).
Prefer burgers plain now. No cheese, no salad, no sauce, but butter on the bun is COMPULSORY.0

 I agree, they're horrid.
You can't beat the Heinz ones in my view, but you have to cook them for ages to get them right, half an hour on simmer at least.
I tried the no salt no sugar ones but had to add salt and ketchup to make them edible!0

Years ago I used to buy 1/2lb burgers cooked over the flame - and I'd add a huge dollop of sweetcorn relish on the chips with that... and ever since I've thought of buying sweetcorn chutney, in fact my eye fell on a jar in Lidl just 2-3 days ago. I love sweetcorn relish, but I doubt I'll ever actually buy a jar because then I'd have to think up 100 foods to eat it with ... and eat them in the next 2-3 months just because I bought the jar in the first place and can't waste itchewmylegoff wrote: »I did go through a phase of sweet corn relish on burgers 0 0

If anybody ever hosts a get together the menu's probably sorted: baked beans, some fish finger sandwiches, bottle of ketchup and brown sauce on the table and a bowl of mushrooms for those that like 'em.
 Easy!0

So we need to think of a product that hasn't been posh-ed yet. Triple the price and sit back and wait for £££££.
I did have a business idea for the farmers amongst us. Quail eggs! They sell for about 2/3rds of the price of hen eggs, but they are miles smaller. Smaller eggs = less feed, so more profit!
There's probably a snag here that I haven't thought of, like quail are not very hardy. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
