If you had paid some industrial cleaners to come, their costs would be tax deductable. It would have been a lot more pleasant for you.
I'd rather do it myself and know it's done properly.
I know it was unpleasant, but it's nice at the moment.
Paid £400 (was £1,900) for a 2 piece suite, £25 (was £200) for an oak table and £500 (was £2,200) for an 8 piece dining set!
Upstairs; £450 for 2x double beds and a single with matresses (was £2700).
Beat that!

I'd pay about £300-400 for a sofa.
I've never had a dining table and don't plan on ever having one either.
I have an oak table for sale beside me right now .... can't give them away down these parts - I know because I've tried. Actually going to pay a little man to take it away.
My one and only bed I've owned cost me £185 in about 1988 and I got rid of it in 2007 as I was minimising my belongings - and it was still as good as new.0 -
Cold, overcast, raining, wind's picking up - expecting 3 days of disaster-style weather.....
But my site's working again, the Windows Server Updates caused the database to not bother. Earnings restored: £0.15 today. Hurrah.... keep it up and I'll be able to afford a packet of crisps for tea0 -

Shop in administration, things need to go, they're being allowed to trade until stock's gone. Job done!
I know roughly what they've bought it for, and henceforth what I want to pay for it.

I feel I have missed a vital part of the CK conversation.
The blog is easy to find but I was hoping to do a few more entries before asking NP for their comments.
SilverCar I am wondering if I can get solar panels before the end of July?I think....0 -

Just spent 20 minutes wrestling with a vacuum bag (well, 2 in the end), a big duvet and a vacuum cleaner.... first mistake was thinking it'd "just about fit" in the first bag, and with a determined air I did try ..... but the sealing edges wouldn't meet... so out it had to come again. And into a bigger bag.
Under Plans A-H I wasn't even going to have that... that was off to the cats home... but as I am now on Plan P4 I might have space for it, now it's compressed. And it'll save me £10 buying a new one. I was soooo lazy, I didn't even take the duvet cover off it .... so when I do unpack that it's ready to goDuvet cover was on there for "dressing the house" for sale originally. Waste not, want not.
Having spent nigh on 3 years sleeping in a sleeping bag and on sofas, it'll be my little bit of "feeling rich" - if/when I do ever get a bed to sleep in.0 -

Ummm, is it possible to wash sleeping bags? If not, you may find there are other advantages having a duvet. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
24 hours, £11000 and a hell of a lot of work later! :T
