I definitely would have heaved at the previous carpet!! (where is that vomiting smiley when you need it?)
CK - sorry to hear about the past 24 hours, but looks like you've (plural) done a great job. I hope your next tenants appreciate it and look after it a lot better.0 -

This is one you want to batten down for before it arrives, not do it once it's arrived.
I'll just have to cope, horses are out now. Much quicker to get them in once its started. I would get them in now if they were more traditionally kept and stabled, but i will have to cope now. Its really just moving old girls grass nuts thats going to be the hardest, but i need a break before doing that. Its too heavy and i need the steel of necessity to move it:o0 -

Unless you are the tenant down stairs or next door in an. Inadaquately insulated place, i agree. Still, imagine pee soaked floor boards, you would never get the smell out.0 -

Of the bedroom? Yes, I thought that too, but I had some white carpet left over from doing ours and it went perfectly with the room!💙💛 💔0 -

LIR - you really must get one of these:

I'm a bit lucky - while it is windy here I am in a bit of a hollow in all directions, so protected from most of the wind... but I was out earlier and got the full force directly from the Ocean.... it was weather people can't stand up in.
I do expect next door to lose their fence though, which will be a tad annoying as I've parked my car back as far as possible, but there's still the potential it'd get hit.0
