Morning!
Hope everyone is well. Woke up to a lovely sunny day....it's not cloudy but guess even a little bit of sunshine is nice of late
Productive evening of spruce downstairs, short run (baby steps!) and nice bath followed by bed.
I'm finding that with the dog i'm having to do more cleaning and tidying - knew it would be a case of this as muddy paws and cream carpets just don't mix. However we are going to replace the carpets at some point so not worrying about them now until she is a tad older and more well behaved. Which reminds me hubby and I must set aside a bit of money each month for next few to put towards these. I also want to freshen up the paint in hallway etc so will put some money aside for this too. Forward planning and all that business....
Nothing exciting to report today. Long day ahead work wise so i'm just concentrating on that. Shall go out for a nice walk with the dog during my lunch break to grab some fresh air or rain....probably the latter looking at the sky now.
Have a good day all xx0 -
Today just keeps getting better and better. Received online payslip today and totally forgot that I had put in 13 hours overtime - a lovely surprise
Means that i'm on track to pay all debt payments plus clear the lowest in full. First step towards debt freedomness in 18 months! Actually be 17 months after payments go out on 16th. Can't wait to update my totals later after I clear first debt in full and am still waiting for statements to be able to update from last months normal payments :j
Need to sit down at the weekend and work out income/outgoings and balance left then set weekly budgets to stick to. Shouldn't be too hard as not got that much planned for month ahead and hubby away working olympics for just over a week during this time so will be some nice quiet nights just me and the pooch.
Right best get back to work, just got excited about my pay!

Pay day today
Don't have time just yet to work out the pennies in full but roughly after paying all bills and putting an extra £300 to debt repayments I should be left with approx £70 per week to cover fuel, food(my half) and misc spends. I'm hoping I don't need the full £70 each week and can put some more aside towards the debts but we shall see.
Can't wait for standing orders to come out so that i'm then 17 mths payments away from debt freedomness!
Also forgot to mention have upped one of my minimum payments to DCA as they called and it will now be gone in 12 months regardless of what I do :T Although the aim is for it to be sooner as I now service this with £111 per month. Can't wait for it to be gone then that's a massive savings per month to throw at another debt.
It's all coming together nicely and i'm finding it much easier and motivating knowing there is an end in sight!

Check out the signature - just updated total after last months payments as had final cc statement through in post. Now in the 23 thousands and something :j
Am about to pay a further months normal payments next week and clear the lowest debt in full so over £1300 in payments being made next week. Literally can not wait to update the total once final bills come in for next month. Have a feeling it'll drag for me now.....:D0 -

Relatively cheap evening out last night. Catch up with the girls (staying in) so only involved buying some wine and soft drink for me. Yesterday lunch was with neighbour out so bit of a spend there but keeping within my weekly budget planned. Will start logging daily spends I think to keep me in check.
Currently working overtime (just popping on here) so that's another positive and this will go towards Sept pay so already know a little extra will be coming. Every penny helps0
