    Morning diary!

Is it really Monday already?? :(

OF - fab that you get to make overpayments to loan next week - it's weird how excited we get about doing it! :rotfl:

Bit of a spendy weekend in the end - had to get some doggy bits but OH and I split cost so not too bad. Did a food shop which should last us almost 2 weeks and came in at £55 so not too bad. Prob just have to do a mini top up of fresh things but all good.

Am embarking on healthy lifestyle changes as well as healthy money changes. Today is first day. Will log progress of that as well as spends so far this month since payday later on when I have the right totals.

Have a busy week of work, although have tomorrow off so that'll be nice. OH has random day off so spending it together but will most likely be up in the loft sorting. Already have a car load for tip and charity to go today from yesterday afternoon sorting. It's very theraputic knowing we have decluttered a car load of stuff - most of it from the loft. Also means that we can use our loft for suitable storage of things we don't ues that often. Our loft has easy access and pull down steps etc, good lighting and boarded so be a shame not to use the space properly.

Right enough ramblings from me. Choc x

    Spends so far this month....

£ 6.47 - drinks for evening with girls
    £13.20 - lunch with friend
£ 5.64 - sunday bits and bobs from local shop
£55.50 - food shop (should last us 2 weeks and OH to get next)
£ 2.49 - lunch out at sainsburys whilst on road
£18.99 - puppy related purchase (new bed as grown)
    £30.00 - cash withdrawl (still have £20.00)
£15.00 - pack of wooden flooring as run out of that we had

That's it so far, have £20 in purse. NSD yesterday so that's good.

Have a few expenses coming up though, contact lenses, wedding flowers being preserved are ready and also need hair cut as not had one in over 3 months and looking bad. Will have to work something out.

    Happy friday Choc.

Sorry you have to work though.

Woohoo to being able to pay off one of your debts in full next week!! :j:j:j

I will have £100 to pay off my loan on Monday and then Wednesday will be OH's payday. So i need him to see what money he has left for overpayment :D I have my fingers crossed that it isn't any less than £100 so we can reach our £200 target! x

So exciting about paying off one of your debts in full, every time you do something like that you are a step closer to being debt free.

Hope the weekend of work is ok.

    Hey ladies,

Working isn't so bad at the weekend. It's easier work and for some reason I always feel more relaxed. Perhaps because it's my choice to work and not the fact that I have to be there. Also it's my Monday off work (have alternate mon's off) so makes it easier.

I will be finished in a hour and then the rest of the day is mine. Tomorrow is a longer day of OT but all helps and will see Sept pay day with a substantial extra amount.

I really can't wait to contact my creditor tomorrow morning and pay it off in full. It's a step in the right direction and hopefully the start of some full repayments in the coming months. Fingers crossed it all goes to plan!

Hope everyone has a lovely weekend x

Gosh, where has this week gone!?! Not been on to post much. Have been reading when I can.

Positive for today, I have arranged to clear my lowest debt £349.70 in full :j That means not only would I have cleared it but my total debt repayments will be (think I said before?) more than 1k off of them. Bringing that overall total down nicely :T

It's nice knowing that I have cleared it as if I carried on as I was it would have taken me nearly 17 months to clear in full.

Now onto my next debt which I hope to be able to clear either Aug payday (if lucky) or Sept if I want to be sensible and live, lol!! :D

Seems i'm never getting chance to focus on money and here....working ridiculous hours and working from home isn't easier at moment. As soon as I finish work i'm starting on the house. Don't sit down until gone 8 or later at the moment!

    Tonights to-do-list...
    • pack away all clothes
    • put bits up in loft
    • tidy workspace area
    • take dog for nice long walk
    • wash up dishes from last night and today :o
After that I can sit down and look at my pennies hopefully.
