Sounds like you are really busy at the moment, is good but you do need a break every now and then.

Hope all is going ok and you have a nice weekend.

Where has the time gone??? I don't seem to find a minute to get on and post. To be honest been pretty slack of late in doing anything. Bit under weather, bit lazy...who knows?! Anyway I am back and feeling highly motivated to get things sorted.

This month has seen me clear/pay off my lowest debt in full :T I'm really pleased. It's been a tough month financially and I literally only have a few quid left but thankfully it's payday tomorrow so new start with a new budget. More debt busting to be done.

OH and I were talking and it's so nice knowing that in a year my finances (our finances) will look so different compared to as they stand today. Even more so exciting is that a few months after that my debts will be gone for good. I literally can not wait and it's making me think harder before I spend any money as now I keep thinking if I save more it'll be gone sooner. We shall see.

This month has to be frugal as I would really like to be able to clear another small debt. Not sure I can do it but I will try my hardest! If not it'll be in September once paid.

Another priority of mine is to get fit and healthy. I've neglected this since getting married - think partly because I can now eat what I want without having to think about the "dress" but I don't feel at my best and that's never good. So slow steps to a more healthy lifestyle is to be done too. However this is without the gym as being mse I have cancelled this now :money: I've printed off a training plan for 10 mile race and will follow this. Week one is this week, today is my first day which will be 30mins of running/walking. I can probably run all of this but we shall see as it's been a while. Thurs will be the same and then on Sunday I have to run 2 miles and log a time which I shall do. I feel quite motivated so hoping the 3 training runs a week combined with some dog walking, hand weights and sit ups will see me fitter in a few weeks time.

Right, enough waffling from me. I shall be back posting daily - it helps keep me in check :p

    Mini target......

I'm now setting myself a goal (work pending) of working 36 hours overtime per month. Now this is doable if I put my mind to it and overtime keeps coming.

If I do this then I have the equivilant of a weeks extra pay each pay day. That's my goal which will then be split on debts (70%), savings (15%)and a little treat for OH and I (15%) each month.

This way I get to do a bit of everything I want but mainly I get to overpay a nice lump sum off of my debt.

Tomorrow if first overtime day for Oct pay so off to a good start.

That is a brilliant amount paid off, well done you!

The goal sounds good but make sure you are getting a break and don't work too hard.

Monday already :( Still we have the lovely bank holiday weekend to look forward too!

Weekend of work, dog and chilling out. Decided to treat myself and only work a few hours on Sunday therefore in effect giving myself the weekend off. I'll work longer hours this weekend if it's available as have Monday off to compensate.

A no spend wend for me!!! That's a first  Think it's probably something to do with only having the one car now. I can't get out and about too easily when OH is working (nearest decent shops a good 20 min drive away) and local shops are a 10-15 minute walk which i'm too lazy to do just for the sake of spending money on rubbish :rotfl:

Nothing major planned today. Just a lot of work and followed by a run this evening.

    Have a good day x

    ****************BREAKING NEWS******************

I have not spent a single penny since Weds last week....now if I can make it through today not spending anything then I would have had myself a NO SPEND WEEK!

Today has seen me clear in full my second lowest debt :T
£372.15 extra paid and cleared in full a debt. I'm so pleased as that's two gone now and by doing that I now have an extra £46 per month to throw at my next debt. Together with this I have cancelled my gym membership so in the last two months I have freed up £77 :D

Obviously all relevant as I won't see this money as it goes into the debt repayment fund to clear my next one but it's a great start!

    Weekend plans.......

Hubby is away until Sunday so the next few days see me, sorting out house this evening and taking the pooch for a nice long walk in fields as she's been couped up today.

Tomorrow if a day of visiting family, friends etc. I'm taking myself down to Southampton for visit whilst I have a free day and catching up with as many people as I can. Also need to clean the car inside and out.

Sunday will be working all day. Followed by a lovely evening with hubby upon his return hopefully.

Monday is a day with hubby and friends. Not sure where we'll go but it'll be out somewhere nice and the in-laws are looking after the pooch :D

Beside plans I need to spruce house/garden. Complete all washing and drying/packing away. Write a shopping list for little bits needed and get hubby to pick up on home from work Tues. Work out budget for rest of month as very short after clearing second debt.

Kind of a sort out/catch up/visit family/friends wend. Bring it on!
