Ohhh what Beanie, do tell ;)
Date - Income needed - Saves - Whats going out
    22 £195 (£40 for 13th) (£75 for insurance) £80 out

So this week I needed to earn £195, I earn't £181.62, damn you emergency tax or I would have been spot on. However I have £62.05 in my account as posted above. So thats £243.67 in total, minus the £80 (petrol/rent) and £40 saves for the 13th I have £123.67 :T I have spent £6.05 tonight on grocerys (fancied a salad but we had no lettace/toms, also got a few extras, should last a week) so that leaves £117.62... Transfering £17.62 into savings so thats £100 floating in current account to go towards MOT in August.

I have emptied my floating pig and moved it upstairs, I have trained Mum to empty her purse of coppers/5p's each night ;) Savings now up to £43.80, prob a tyre or something but moving in the right direction.

    * Edit - forgot the ebay fee for listing the car £10, I got the FVF back because the bidder didn't pay, I may get this £10 back if it sells this week but I won't know. However paypal have already requested the £10 fee... £90 floating

Teehee I guessed you meant that ;)
  • I 'think' I know what book you mean Beanie. Not my type of book but I hope you enjoy it.

Well can't update/do anything this weekend as I am one who is affected by the Natwest problems. I 'haven't' been paid  :rotfl: I was going to be naughty and go somewhere this weekend but alas thats off the cards now unless I use some of the money sat in my account. Good way to save money I suppose, I just feel sorry for those with bills/buying houses/no funds etc, must be a really stressful time.

  • Beanie thats just it, plus the cost isn't great. Natwest came out good this morning but I can't view my latest statement online but thats not a bother.

So I did go out today and spent some money :o Only £2 was extravagence (new rolling pin & ankle bandage) the rest was needed/groceries/lunch. I also picked up a few things in the pound shop/Mr A's for the shoe boxes. I really only need stationary for them now I think.

    £10 - Breakfast/Dinner for Mum and I
£26.36 - Petrol (not a full tank because my petrol tank is at a weird angle and it will click as full if you don't have it right, I moved it twice and thats what I got, didn't want to chance throwing money on the forcourt because it over filled, its all but full though, should last me the week)
£15.03 - Groceries in Mr A's plus ingrediants for cakes
£4.00 - PoundShop (new bandage, car airfreshner, coat hook and marshmallows - later too Mum's but I paid)
£4.37 - Wilko (2* sponges, rolling pin, hand soap, black bags & ladies items)
    £5.80 - Shoe boxes (6* toothpaste, 4* sponges, 5* bars of soap, 5* toothbrushes, 4* face cloths)
    = £65.56
    £4.44 Saves

    Weekly spends -

    £23.50 - groceries
    £3.50 - groceries and deodrant/shampoo
    £62.86 - petrol
    £10 - lunch out
    £8.37 - toiletries/house stuff
    £5.80 - Shoeboxes

So thats £60 now towards the MOT, bad on my part but it wasn't as if I went out and purchased junk or items 'just beacuse'. I am now off to make some cakes/biscuits and then tidy the house... All go!
  • Having a Pap day but feeling a little guilty....

What I didn't post on Sunday was I had actually done a morning shift on Saturday (works out about 4hrs pay) :D So that resulted in me having only one day off last week (Sunday) and an eight day stint. Now I know somedays I am done by 2pm (start at 7am) so in effect I don't work 'full time' some days its still a tiring job and most days (unless I nap) I can't do anything that requires a brain after 7pm, sometimes I can't even hold a meaningfull conversation.

So this week I agreed to change my days off (meaning I will not get two days sandwiched together), today is one of those days off. Got up late (9am) and have done nothing but art/watch utube/watch tennis (on mute) and basically chilled (including a nap). So thats guilt to start with, whats worse? Declining an evening shift, possible 4hrs pay (£20ish) :o I know, an easy way to boost my pay and I declined! There is a reason though, if I took it I would then only get one day off this week too and Sat is the start of my 7day stint before a day off....

So I am enjoying my relaxed day but feeling guilty too. Some days one can't win!
