Payday :j Not too bad! After car insurance bill, rent, petrol and a £50 payment to the CC (£20 is min payment) that then leaves £162.63. I then require £124.42 next friday to cover all my bills. However I will need £204.42 to cover everything. That being said I am hoping the petrol I put in this week will last two as I no longer have to collect Mum from work as lil bro has a car so mum has hers back :D

BUT I need to find £81.25 to apply for my first passport :o Long story short I should be visiting foreign lands to do with my job. Flights/board etc is included as I will be working but I need a passport to fly. I will be earning money while over there (poss £700-£800 after tax for those days) but I need to get there first. And there comes the problem of finding the money and someone to sign my forms. I think I can cobble the money together in the next few weeks £24ish for three weeks but unless I ask the bank or a doctor to sign my form which could cost money I have no idea how to get it signed... Ho hum! But there is no way I can turn down that type of earning :o Need to put my thinking cap on!

    :cool2:

Edit, may have thought of someone who is 'a person of good standing in their community' but not a professional body. I shall ask him :D

Fab weekend but an amazing day today!

Nsd day on Sat, today I have spent £4.20 fish food (have enough for 3 months now), £2 on christmas cake for Mum (reduced), £1 spinach, £1 mixed salad and £1.25 rice milk for me. We also went to costa but I used a gift card I had.

I have also spent the weekend cleaning/baking (store cupboard)/walking and generally spends free. I am hoping that my next two days off I can concerntrate on my studys for work :o

I have also had some comunication today that has prob made this year and most of last. It gives me a bit of breathing space and I will be forever grateful to the person in question :A

    Back to work tomorrow :T

Edit - I forgot to add, my lil brother managed to get me a parcel shelf and new hydraulic struts for the boot of my car for free. I wasn't going to buy them and was making do with a wardrobe pole (to hold boot open) and a parcel shelf that was breaking up, however if I were going to purchase them they would have cost £50 - £70. So that was a nice surprise :)

  • NSD's on Monday and today. Did a petrol run on Sunday, I will have to however purchase more on Friday :( I have been given a lot of extra work these past two day but its zig zag work which means short trips so high petrol burn! Ho hum.

You could cut down the shoe boxes a wee bit?

I am going to reduce these now. Decided on one RL and only 3 normal ones... For now, this can change.

This is because I have been given a knitting loom (lovely family friend) and I am going to knit premature hats/mittins/booties for hospitals in the local area. Its something that costs relitively little (£1 for wool, I think its two hats per ball but haven't completed one yet as I need to buy wool) but will give me something to do as I have gone off cross stitch again!! You never know I could be making christmas gifts later in the year ;)

The money for this wool will come from my weekly play money of £5.

Work tomorrow but I haven't got any extra work, I may phone in the morning and see if anything is going. I also need to pick the parcel of pads up from the sorting office. I may stop in costa for a coffee too but still have some money on my gift card :T

    :cool2:
  • Well managed to get an extra 2hrs work :T But I had to have lunch while in Costa so that wasn't too good and now I have used all my gift card :( Got the application for my passport too, just need to get the pictures and it signed. Fingers crossed I can take it to the PO on Monday. Collected the parcel containing the pads I ordered, just in time as I only have a few plastic ones left.

    Spends:
    £0.80 Costa
    £4.00 4* wool
    £4.80 :o

That means I am however over my weekly spends as I purchased that food/ebook. Opps, must get back on track this coming week!!

Wage is not good I may have to double up rent next week or put petrol on the CC  Will update this tonight as I left my wage slip in my car.

  • So after setting aside the money needed to cover my bills I had £35 remaining. So I payed Mum £30, I will pay her an extra £10 next week and I kept £5 as me money. When I need petrol I will use my CC sadly :(

Off out to work later as I have been given some calls :)

Haven't managed to start looming as I haven't got a hook/needle to loom with. I have ordered one on ebay and thankfully it was only 1p as I had an unknown £2.47 in my paypal account, the bad thing is that it will be coming from china :o

I seem to have also started to learn how to knit  Mum saw this advertised on the tv and mentioned it to me. I thought well for 99p for just the yarn is a good price, 2* 25g (that retails at £3.50 for 50g) so decided to pick it up... I am now knitting :rotfl: Now these magazines are £4.50 a week and are 80 issues = £360! So I don't know if I want to pay that. I am going to see if there are tutorials or a book of the different stitch's online somewhere. But I will get next weeks (£2.50) because you get a free crochet hook and more wool :T

    So todays spends -
    99p - magazine (1p in 'piggy')
    £2 - 4* 150g wool (charity shop)
69p - 5 random balls of wool (charity shop - 31p in 'piggy')

= £4 from my weekly play money

High spends but thats this weeks entertainment sorted  Plus I am well on my way to marking off an achivement I wanted to complete in 2013.

    :cool2:
