Grrr to your broth is all.
£19.96 for the 2 meals, 2 desserts and 3 drinks! £3.78 on cream and tablets for my swolen/sore hands (I have been putting it off but I went to the pharmacy today and thats what I have been advised. I have tried other creams but nothing has helped, need to go to the dreaded docs if its not gone within a week) and 99p on a ball of wool. Technically that leaves me with 23p. I don't need anything so can't see it being a problem. I do need parking maybe twice this week but I can cover that easily.
Finally managed to get my passport pics so need to visit the person that can sign it for me and get that done and sent off. Ekk I am going to France :rotfl:
Have a great weekend all!

Hello, just a newbie following you here.
How long do you have left on your loan? And how much is in the car fund so far?
I was going to give some advice about the "Up Your Income" board and maybe a second job but I'm guessing since you are a long-term poster you'll know much much more than me anyway!!!
Hope you have a fab weekend. How exciting, when do you head off to France?Debt December 2012 - Approx £4070...
February 2013 £2784.640 -
Sparkles, great isn't it! My friend has aggreed to sign the passport so thats one less thing to worry about. I will get him/them a thank you though.
hereigoagain22, welcomeLoan finishes in May which will free up £200 a month. It is also car ins renewal (May) which at present is quoting me a saving of £80. I don't have a car fund at present, I don't know if you have just read the first few posts? Once I clear the loan I need to clear my CC, I used this to pay for car repairs during december. It should be cleared by the end of June. It will then be all out for car saves. When I mention transfering money it to my savings account this is less than £20 at the moment. Can't take on a second job as this is 24hr flexi time, however I do badger for overtime and generally I am one of the first they contact
Sorry its taken so long to update but work has been really busy! Some days I have walked out my front door 7am and not been back before 10pm! I have been catching everyone else diarys but not posted on my own. I shall quickly post this then I am back out all night
Tomorrow's friday and I still have my 23p, well not now as I have transfered it to my savings :rotfl: I have had NSD's since last updating until now except car parking. I missed putting my mileage/parking form in though so will have to wait an extra month for the parking I have used in Jan. Bit annoying but it will be a nice tidy sum to pay off the CC in Feb/March.
So budget this week...
In bank Fri - £508.40
£150 car ins (going out)
£180 bills (saves for 15th)
£40.00 rent
£40.00 petrol (nearly empty tank too! I shall see how tonight goes but I may have to top up early)
£5.00 play money
£5.00 chocs for freind signing passport
=£420.00
£88.40 remaining
Now I am going to keep that money in there until next week and I if not used for an emergency I shall pay that off my CC :T
For now...

Really I dont think that you need to get your friend anything for signing the passport form.

I understand Beanie but these are great people. I also usually purchase them christmas gifts but I didn't this year due to finances. It would be great if I could give them a box of chocs or something
Some bad newsI think my break pads have gone on one wheel of my car. However the good news is that I can get them done quite cheaply through a family friend. Still £40-£50 from that money I wanted to put asside for the CC  At least its not going down the garage who will charge much more. However if one set has gone it could mean the others need doing too...
These things are sent to try us arn't they :rotfl:

Mini update!
£4.99 chocs for friend
£41.00 petrol
£80.00 Mum (I lent this to Mum, I will not pay rent on the 15th and she will repay the other money back when she gest paid)
This means that I now no longer have a chucnk to send to the CC. I will find the money next week. Car is being fixed tomorrow which is great! The only negative is I didn't account for parking charges this week, so £5 extra spent today. No more parking till after Friday now though :T
Mad week coming up at work again this week! Finally having a 'normal' night shift and although its crazy its great to be earning more penniesI have also been asked to take one of the main people I work with to two main events coming up which is quite fab.
Sent off my passport application this afternoon thanks to a special person.:A
Now back off to work!

Grr! Car got fixed today, lovely to get rid of the squeek. However last night I had a few people flash and me and thought nothing of it... Turns out I had lost a headlight of my car and throughout tonight the remaining light had turned into the dimmest thing possible. So that's a trip to Halfords tomorrow! Why is it once you fix something, something else pops up!
Other than that NSD so going to use my play money for above plus extra. This Friday I need to clear £180 + £25 min for CC + the money for the bulbs tomorrow. I would idealy like to pay much more off my CC but I don't think it will happen. If need be I can use £40 that I am planning to put away for my car insurance and put extra away the following weeks.
I shall see what happens on Friday/Thursday.
