I think a lot of people got caught up this morning. My husband couldn't get out of our town due to the accident on the motorway bridge! So I've had him at home all day!!!

Thanks Beanie, it would appear snowballing that I can do it with £60 but would need to pay an extra £10 in May. That is without any ebay income or other income... So here is hoping. Listed 16 items plus the 3 I listed the other day. I hope Mum doesn't mind going to the post office for me :rotfl:

I certainly did dangers, I usually drive down the road that conects the moterway to town (PWay), takes 10min or 20min in rush hour. This morning 80min  It was flooded in four different places. I think they came and sucked the water away though because driving back only 2hours later it was dry as a bone :rotfl: I am guessing having him home all day was not fun?! :p

I remember the Pway flooding years ago when I was at school - I was on a double decker bus and we got through ok - mind you from what i recall we did have water just about come into the bus. Others were on normal coaches and one was photographed going through the tunnel under the bridge (you know the one near B Valley rd) and apparently the driver of the coach got a severe rollicking for risking it!

DH wasn't too bad - I just ignored him and got on with what I had to get on with.
  • That road can be horrid in normal weather Dangers :o I have seen pictures of people in our area having their cars covered due to driving through weirs etc. No sympathy for people like that, especially as there is a bridge only one extra turn away :(

Not much to report today, ebay items have bids... But only one of the 'big' items. Nothing saved to the car tax because I am skint :rotfl: One good thing I read however is paypal are doing instant transfers now so no more waiting 5days to get the money in your bank account :T

    Payday Friday :j
  • One of the 'big' items sold for £16 :j Hopefully they will be collected over the weekend so I can use that money for postage. May put the other big item on gumtree but unsure because I may still want to use them. Other's have bids which is great they end Monday night. Have a few more bits to list too...

NSD's since last post but spends today... £39.43 petrol and £1 on reduced brownies :D = £40.93. I let the tank nearly run dry again this week hence the high amount. I did get 2hours overtime today so I think the brownies are cancelled out :T

Weekend off now but need to spend one of those days/part of both days doing my coursework for my NVQ as my assessor is in on Monday, that will keep me out of trouble ;)

Have a great weekend all
  • Took Mum for her jab today and purchased some much needed items today, roll-on deodrant, spray deodrant and softner from the 99p shop. A pie for tea, some water and a choc bar (shared with mum) from the co-op. So took out £10 and have just put £4.10 in my tax saves and the pennys in my jar :j

Have done a bit more digging today and have another bag full to list on ebay, I will do that over the weekend. We also took some random bits to the charity shop, they were not items that sold well on ebay so decided to give them to c/s.

Baking today also and the family wants cakes :o
  • * Made doughnuts from scratch, went down really well but nearly 3hours to make they won't be a reg thing. Also made flapjacks and yet again they fell apart :o No cakes, thats tomorrow....

    * Listed 11 items on ebay, one of the high value items now have bids :j

    * Finished all my coursework needed for my NVQ on Monday, that means I need to do nothing on that tomorrow :D

    :T
  • New Month :j

The item from ebay didn't get collected over the weekend thats happening sometime this week. I have however got £10 in cash in my purse for postage tomorrow so thats good. Ebay is doing well, everything finishing today is up to £68 will let you know the final amount once they all finish.

Being the 1st I thought I would start a NSD challege so I will have 16 out of 31 NSD's this month :D

I did buy some food over the weekend but it was only £12 so thats good. I also sorted my room and discovered £2.05 so thats gone into my tax savings :T

Positive vibes for tonights auction ends, everything except postage cost and ebay fees (curently at £4.60) will be going towards the CC
