I will update my budgets tomorrow because the savings I had put into my Spends account for the card can now all be incorperated. I am also thinking of a new way to manage my budgets which may be easier :D

Tommorrow is a new day :j

  • New plan of action....

    The Card

So I signed up to view my credit card statements online last night, the total is actually £485.49 due to a charge for taking out the cash payment and a my repayment option plan (I have read the t&c's of this and I want it, it was free but if you have an amount on your card you are obviously charged a bit more). The min payment is £21.84.

So the plan to pay this off is to pay at least the min payment plue the estimated interest that will be added next month. I will then be selling items in order to raise the difference. I haven't got my pile sorted but I have a few things in mind that I am going to sell.

    The Bill

Will be added and need to be payed by the 15th, I am estimating that will cost at least £45 on top of the usual, so thats £82.10. This will need to come from my pay packet somehow, my new budgets are below...

    Budgets

After paying Mum/Petrol/CC I now have £138.96 left the next few weeks look like -

    Sep 28th
    In - Approx £200
    Out - Base £80 Insurance £150 = £230.00
£30.00 saved from this week, makes these bills covered

    Oct 5th
    In - Approx £200 Need £215
    Out - Base £80 = £80
£135.00 will be saved from this for my bills.

    Oct 12th
    In - Approx £200 Need £217.05
    Out - Base £80 Bills £322.05 = £402.05
£50.00 saved out of this weeks

The budgets from then on are up in the air I will work on those later today.

£58.96 left from my pay today, thats to pay for postage of ebay item once listed. To buy a new letter box for the front of the house, get flea treatment for the house and look for a pair of shoes for me for work.

    Banks

The idea will be to put any money that is 'mine' :rotfl: into my spends account, this will include the £40 petrol each week. My bills account will hold any money that I have 'saved' for the up and coming bills.

    Tax

I still need to save for my tax bill so I am still attempting my challenge. I will keep you updated with that. I have to save it in order to work so its a case of do it slowly or add it to the bills going out that month. I am going to try my hardest to save it. I will count my coppers and add that to my sig later. I am no longer saving any silver that piggy is now assigned to this challenge.

    Christmas

    Christmas/Jan now looks like...

1* adult birthday gift approx £5
2* adult xmas gifts approx £5
3* special xmas cards approx £5
    6* £2.50 for OCC = £15
complete shoeboxes (very nearly there) = £10

    = £40

Everything except the shoeboxes can be forgotton if needed. I plan to make a selection of jams (saving empty jam jars) for one of the adult christmas gifts as a 'token' gift. I am also 'watching' a craft kit on ebay for one of the other adult ones, at the moment its £5 I will see if I can eek it out of todays left overs. Thats for me to make something as a gift as opposed to buying her a gift.

I have my fingers crossed that I can work on christmas day 3* pay, I have already booked my birthday off so couldn't care less about christmas to be honest.

I am asking for an penguin adoption from London Zoo from Mum for xmas and birthday this year (£32), she usually gives us £25 for xmas and £10 for birthday. That will give me a free entry to London zoo, I will then buy an entry for Mum (£20). I will continue to watch megabus and hopefully if I can get the £1 coach tickets and budgets allowing we will go to London on my birthday to the zoo :T

    XX

I think thats my life on a plate just there... I maybe back later with further budgets but it depends how I feel. Right now I feel alone in the world and still quite upset :o

Have a great Friday all :T

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling upset :( sending you some hugs xxx your budget looks good, if a little tight! Do you have anything you could sell? Or is there any chance for overtime at work? LOVE the idea of the penguin adoption btw, please post pics :D

Thanks SF it is tight but Mum has agreed to something but depends on a meeting this afternoon. I have quite a bit to sell if I am honest cross sitich kits, a psp and games, some building materials and other random bits. I also am debating selling my android tablet, but Mum doesn't want me to so I am going to sell what I have first then will do that at the last resort.

Work can give overtime but at the moment they have taken on a new batch of staff, but no harm in asking. Next week I have 37 hours allocated, if this carrys on I may have to ask for more min but I will see how things go. 35 hours gives me approx £200 after tax hence why I have used that to know my budgets above.

Mum has said yes to the penguin but will have to see if she can get teh day off work to go with me. I love London and after visiting quite a few animal establishments while at college I think London's is best. Something to look forward too :T

Now off out to doctor's (not me) the vet (again not me :rotfl:) and a little bit of shopping :D
  • Bit of a spends day, payed Mum, back got flea treatment, a new letter box, a pair of shoes for work, collected shoes that I 'purchased' online, got petrol (£42 to fill it), dog food, cat food, tablets and feminie care. That took up all my allocated money. I did spend an extra £10 on food while out but considering I last ate on Wednesday I think it was justified. But Mum is giving me half of the lea treatment money back next week so thats fine.

Listed some major stuff but now need to start uploading stuff to ebay. Going to open a gumtree account too I think. The seller ended that item early on ebay so didn't manage to purchase it :(

I am hoping for an early night tonight :T

Thanks Beanie, I am trying :o
The seller ended that item early on ebay so didn't manage to purchase it :(

So I found another and it was only £2 but now its over £10. So I have decided to make my own :D £2.20 and 99p should make everything I need to start off. If I like it a few months down the line then I will look at getting 'official' items.

That letter box isn't correct as it didn't have a back surround and to get it to fit would have cost £5+. So we got a new one, the old one will go on ebay :D I also emptied out my purse and thats another £2 for my car tax :T

    Ebaying tonight
  • Payed £43.52 off the CC today, only £20 will make an impact as there is interest to go on but its a payment. I also purchased some credit for my mobile today (£10) I got stuck in the floods this morning and phoning work 4* and home a few times drained what credit I had left.

Now I have decided today that I will not be in debt after the 15th of May 2013. That is the date the final payment goes out for the loan. So to pay off just the balance on the card (no interest) I have to pay £60 a month. So thats my aim each month. So I need to make another payment of £16.48 before the 15th of October :D

One of my ebay item has a bid and several watchers, the other two has some watchers. I didn't manage to list any lat night too busy playing. Today I aim to list at least three items before I go to bed :rotfl:
