This takes me up until christmas nearly, well it will be that tight until May. Until May I need....
    3* boys xmas gifts approx £5 = £15
    3* boys birthday gifts approx £5 = £15
    1* girls birthday gift approx £5 = £5
    4* adult brithday gifts approx £5 = £20
    4* adult xmas gifts approx £5 = £20
    6* special xmas cards approx £5 = £5

    6* £2.50 for OCC = £15
complete shoeboxes (very nearly there) = £10

    Total = £100 :eek:

I am working christmas day so I am not going OTT this year. Plus everyone knows that I have had car problems etc so I am not spending much but even reducing the amount spent its still a huge outgoing. Will have to try and 'find' that money somewhere... Where did I plant that money tree? :rotfl:

As a positive after this month only 9 months worth of loan payments left :T

I have never done surveys or clicks Gem but I have done comps. Bit dubious of doing them since I moved but what have I got to lose *shrug* :D Many thanks.

I have also applied for a credit card *not to use* but to get £25 quidco cash back. I am going to go through quidco and find some low/free things to do depending on the cashback. If I get accepted the credit card will live under my bed never to see the light of day execpt every 2 months when I will spend a nominal £2 on there and pay it off straight away :rotfl:

Mum purchased my phone credit, purchased a birthday gift I needed £4 and is going to put the missing money in my bank. I have to reduce the amount she owes me by £20 but that suits me :T Phew this week is passable, just need to find some swimming money for work now, might raid piggy bank.

Time to look for comps etc ;)
  • Time to look for comps etc ;)

So the random number in my sig is now comps I have entered. I am not just entering anything I am entering specific comps that I can use as gifts or ones I like. This makes the task less daunting than when I was setting myself daily goals comping last year.

Didn't need swimming but took £2 out of my silver pot to pay for hospital parking. But I loved swimming and I would love to set asside some money so I can swim 1-3 times per week. I am going to spend this evening looking into it. It may also mean a new costume because the one I have has been covered by work and although they have said I can use it I don't want to cause any problems?

I have also had to take £40 out of my main saver account  I got given extra shifts over the weekend which was fine but it means more petrol so I put £30 in, spent £6 in the charity shop for two skirts for mum (easier to get on after op), spent £3 in costa and £1 on a colouring book and a card for Mum. The positive being I may get away with no petrol next week as I am off most of it :T

MOT is Monday, wish me luck as all I have is whats in my signature :o

    Take care all

  • I have also applied for a credit card *not to use* but to get £25 quidco cash back.

Accepted for the card and the cashback has tracked. The cash back will be used solely for gifts I need. I will be putting that into my sig saves below and that will be used as/when I see anything for gifts. The card will be placed upstairs and used once a month to keep it ticking over.

I took £10 out of my saves lastnight for car parking and to put some phone credit one, which has nearly gone  I also went to mc'd's :o However I am not too worried about that now as my pay is really good for some reason?

So payday today and recieved £304.75, I know its fuel allowance this week but it still seems too much, will check out my payslip when it arrives. But its good because the breakdown looks like -

    Bank - £335.37
    £10.00 - RAC
    £17.50 - Insurance

    Total - £307.87
    £187 - £50 insurance, £57 Bills, £80 base
    Left - £120.87 :D

The remaining will be an extra £100 for my MOT giving me £300 for that :T £10 phone credit and I will be ordering a few more bottles of stuff from Avon (they have their 5 for £5 promotion on). Also the £80 base I am not sure I will need the £40 for petrol but I will keep it for now just incase. We need some groceries but I will wait until Mum is hope for that.

Take care all and have a get weekend :T
  • MOT in... £310 inc test and retest. The work is being done on Thursday and Friday, I have the car back now until Thursday and I should have it back for Friday :D

I spent £17.87 over the weekend on a pad for my college work, a toy for xmas (bargain at £2 but is too young  that will do for the GMTV appeal though), balloons for mum, beads to make bracelets for OCC, a lovely box for my psp, I also purchased grogeries £10.73. I got £18.58 petrol which also gave a free morrisons voucher and I went to the cinema today £10.40 which was planned three weeks ago.

All in all I am £2 short for the money needed for my MOT, after raiding savings. So I will be using that from my bills save and will 'pay it back' on Friday.

Work has overpayed me £25 but the main person in the office seems to think that after a certain period our money rises. I am holding my breath with that and will see what happens when he phones me this week.

Now I am really thankfull that I have been accepted for the card. At least I have 'some' access to money if my car goes wrong before I can replace my savings :D Hopefully the car will last another year and more!

    Hi Pap :)

    What movie did you see?

    Emz xx
  • Beanie, yes at least it doesn't cost more than what I had. If it did I would be in trouble :o Oh and it passed on the windowscreen ;)

Em, we saw Ted, I enjoyed it but some of the jokes were a bit  and there was far too much swearing in it for my liking. However that said I am a little too old for my age :rotfl:
