  • I also want to start another lifetime change thing, just deciding if the cost outweighs the advantage...

I did it, hence the change in my MOT savings. If it comes to it I can raid my sig saves for my MOT. Working out that I will make very little inroads in my savings until the loan is repayed in May made me think it was worth it.

Today is an unhappy day for me, I promised myself something 7years ago and alas the thing hasn't changed. I got somewhere but thats become undone and my situation was/is getting worse, this can and will change that. I don't regret spending the money.....

So sorry its a bit criptic :o

Wishing you all the best with your new venture PAP - goals can be altered, they aren't set in stone. Moving a goal is not giving up!

  • Many thanks all, I am fine but don't want to let on until I have trialed it for a few weeks. I have read so many reviews etc but wanted to try it out but on paper and now in my hands it seems to be the perfect tool... Time will tell.

Beanie & Gem, I understand your meaning and I guess I am being far too hard on myself but I really wanted this goal but I have just been far too lazy and full of excuses to see it come to life. However I can make the changes now and I will make inroads :T

  • Will do Gem, so far so good. Trying to do a week with no change/very little changes first to see how I go.

So this is the weekly check in, since I last posted I did buy my petrol and some groceries. I only got petrol last night so I am hoping it will last until Sunday.

    £6.49 - Luxurys
    £8.88 - OCC
    £2.25 - Toiletries
    £19.46 - Groceries/Food
    £30.52 - Petrol

So thats my week. This week I have a trip to London with work, travel is covered but I will need to purchase food/snacks I think while there. I am also picking up one of my first christmas gifts, thats £8. I ahve also prdered some new bras and some toiletries from Avon. My bras are so old that the wire in them seem to have become brittle I have snapped two in as many weeks and the two I have left the stitching is coming undone in them. So 4 bras and some odd toiletries will cost £31 once delivered, this is a need rather than a luxury, I just hope I can cover it from my main wage...

Have a great week all :j
  • Not a very good week at all...

Pay is fine but I am already in a negative, I think Mum is going to give me some of the money she owes me so at least I can pay the bills...
    £8.00 - xmas gift
    £31.00 - Avon
£26.00 - Light for car (I had an accident yesterday   )
    £1.80 - Bus fare
    £20.00 - London inc a meal out/2 drinks/brush
£16.00 - cab home at 3am this morning

:o I have now updated my sig and you can see where I stand, not very good compared to this time last week. However I am not going to blame anyone/anything, I just hope my MOT is ok. I now don't know if I can claim for my w/screen as I now have a claim going through on my policy from someone else, so unsure there.

No good news bu alas thats life!
