Thankyou SF :j
Beanie, I hope so too, if its not used it will go straight into my signature saves. The MOT is booked for the 23rd but is not due until the week after. I am unsure if I should get the windscreen fixed before the MOT or hope it passes without0 -

Dont think it will pass if windsrceen is cracked?
Well it has a chip and a small crack. Someone at the garage thinks it will pass but he isn't an MOT tester. Unsure if I should spend the £75 before the MOT and get it replaced or chance it and get it replaced before the free re-test. I don't want to leave only £300 for the MOT and also I don't want to spend the money and then find out it will cost £500 to get it through the MOT, so would need the money for a new car iyswim.0 -

Try googling it.
Its a hard one to judge beanie, even autoglass said the same. Its not in my line of vision because I am so short and I hardly see it there. However if you were 6ft I would imagine its in your line of sightCan't decide what to do
I think I am just going to send it down as is and hope it passes if not then I can get the glass sorted that day/next and get it retested0 -
Have you spoken to the garage to see if they will do the re-test for free? Some places do that
With the crack, there is a template that is used to determine if it's passable or not, your actual line of site is not considered
See if this helps

Hope it passes though... I got mine MOTd last week, cost me £280 just for the tyres

Many thanks Each Peach, according to that it will pass... My garage does free retests so I am going to stick it in and see what happens.
Spent £20 out of my MOT savesand £3.16 on my card. I transfered the excess £1.84 into savings, making £5 off my card. The reason was the dog broke his pool and tesco had them for £2.50 :rotfl:
£2.50 - pool
£2.28 - 6 pencil cases OCC
£2.25 - shampoo and deodrant
£2.63 - groceries
the remaining money was used for a costa for me and mum and to buy a euro ticket (100 millionaires) one.
Naughty but worth it, I will replace it on Friday  also I got my fees back on ebay so thats £20 saved0 -
Keep meaning to buy a ticket.
