I doubt there are though, not after the initial purchase. It's obvious the first time you buy a mutli pack that the sizes aren't the same. You only have to look at this thread, and others OP has posted elsewhere to get an idea of the percentage of people who know that multi-packs are smaller, it's by far the majority.

Hardly a good sample, a handful of MSE'ers.

They shouldn't be smaller then there's no chance that people would be caught out.

Perhaps they should do away with weight altogether and sell snacks by the calorie content.

To be honest I wouldn't be happy with that at all.

Stats are stats. The same proportion were aware of the pack size on other fora OP has posted on. Just the odd two or three who were unaware with a dozen or so aware.

If by made up myself you mean been doing it since before all the consumer rights/awareness movement started, yes. I have never yet seen any consumer site/show that - when talking about supermarket pricing - has not advised you to work out the cost per 100g/100mill in order to truly see if you are getting a good deal or not.

That's a bit naive of you, have you no idea of all the tricks supermarkets and manufacturers get up to. No wonder they get away with it all the time.
