The great Walkers swindle

I can't remember the last time I bought a bag of Walkers crisps either individually or multi-pack. There are much cheaper own-brand deals to be had which are just as good as Walkers, not that crisps or similar are exactly essential purchases in these austere times. Same applies to confectionery generally really, but I still buy the occasional 100g milk chocolate bar at Lidl or Aldi for 35p.Never trust a financial institution.

Crisps (chips) in N America come in much bigger bags that make our regular size ones look like miniatures0

The only time I will buy Walkers snacks - Baked, Sunbites, French Fries or Quavers if they are 2 for £2 for 12 or at work, on the odd occasion, we open a case of crisps and one of the outer bags has split - 50p for us colleagues,0
