Hi,
Someone please help me. I received a £100 fine from UKPC, I was parked incorrectly, I was away from the car for less than 10mins. No excuse.
Are ukpc fines legally enforceable?0 -

Anything more you need to know should be contained within the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, post #1. Go read it, then start your own thread if you aren't able to work from the most comprehensive advice anywhere in the UK, to deal with this yourself.
No more input to this rather ancient thread. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

i WROTE MAIL TO THEM A LOOK LIKE BELOW BUT THEY GAVE ME NEGATIVE ANSVER. I DON'T THINK PAYMENT TO THEM...
negative answersOn the 29.09.2018 at 19:00 pm, I went to a restaurant to bid farewell to my son who has last night with us before going to University with my wife and my other son. A few times before, I was parked in my car against this place and I have not had this kind of experience. When I arrived at my car at 20:30, I found a penalty ticket on my car's window and I was shocked because I looked around and I did not notice a parking warning.
At the end of the business hours, at the end of the dark area, an unnoticed warning on the wall, it is not correct and fair. After taking penalty notice, I recognised your notice on the wall but it was really dark and an unnoticed warning.
I would like to say that our income level is quite low, the price of our car is 500 gbp which is a cheap car and we can eat outside 1-2 nights in a year.
I am so sorry to say that but I cannot handle or pay this penalty during I can't buy a bike (120gbp) now that my son needs for shopping at the university.
I entered the site without noticing, I would pay a 2-hour parking as 5 Gbp but I did not find an option and there is only one option which is 60gbp with a discount on your website. If you give me an account number, I'm going to be ready to pay 5gbp for 2 hours parking fee such as a city centre park fee. Otherwise, I cannot pay this unfair penalty without having a clear parking notice with my low-income scheme.
With my explanation, I would like to request from you to cancel my penalty.0 -
how many people do you know get taken to court over a parking fine .. really .. a parking fine .. I have NEVER heard of anyone happening to .
Wow you are posting that on a forum that sees court defences discussed EVERY SINGLE DAY!

I pay £75 a month to park in the grounds of student accommodation near work. Today, I forgot to display my permit and received yet another fine – that's the third – from UKPC. The offence is Failing to Display the permit. So, technically, that's right – even though I'd paid to park. Still worth ignoring them or have they got me this time?0

Not aware of having hijacked anything. Apologies if poor netiquette0

Hi-jacking is when you post a reply on a thread that someone else's has started, asking for rather than giving advice. What people are saying is that you should read the NEWBIE thread, then, if you still have questions, start your own thread by clicking on the NEW THREAD button. If you cannot see it, maybe it's because you are trying to view the forum on a mobile.0
