Ovivo are great value for money IF everything goes well and you have no reasons to contact them but if you do have issues be prepared for the worst customer service you will have ever encountered.

Yesterday couldn't get access to the network for browsing the internet, kept getting network errors so I phoned them up, the first guy (Johnathon) kept telling me it wasn't an issue with Ovivo, back and forth me saying it was and him saying it wasn't ended up in him hanging up on me, nice.

So I rang them up again and got someone different, he was more helpful but still said it wasn't an issue with them and basically blamed my Nexus 4, spoke with a team leader who said if I was not happy I should fill in the complaint form on their website so I did, I wrote in the complaint that it was clearly a network issue and if you didn't take it seriously I would write bad reviews on the internet.

Today I have had a reply back from Mark Howson (Manager Of Customer Operations) saying that they were terminating my account with 7 days notice, he goes on to say if I call or email customer services again he will close it with immediate effect.

So they've terminated my account because I threatened to write bad reviews on the internet, joke of a company. Going to make a complaint with the ombudsman anyway.

I know you've had a bad experience with them but when I was with them last year I was really happy with their customer service. English call centre, friendly staff, they even call back if they're busy. I didn't spend a penny over my initial £10 to get that service.

Yeah I though they were good when I had previously dealt with them but this was the first time I had technical problems and dealt with them, the fact they have closed my account just for complaining is plain wrong, what sort of tin pot company does that.

What you told us sounded more like making a raw rather than 'just complaining'.

I take it you are meaning "row" grumps?

When CS tell you there is no issue on there end despite numerous other people on twitter reporting the same issues and refuse to even do any "technical help" then yes I made a complaint and included the words "take my complaint seriously instead of fobbing me off or I will write bad reviews on the internet".

You think's that's a valid reason for terminating my account do you grumps?

They don't need any reason for terminating any account.

Sounds more like childish blackmail that back fired to me (not that I agree with them ignoring a potential network fault)

Maybe but what leverage does a customer have who has paid the £20 for the sim and then pays nothing at all to get customer services to at least investigate technical issues I was having, not as though I can threaten them with leaving is it, would they be bothered.

So after 3 calls and no one taking the time to even investigate yes I made a complaint mentioning all that I could think off for them to even look at my issues, who can blame them for terminating my account eh?
