Just for clarity, this from their published terms and conditions:

"5.6 Further, We reserve the right to terminate the Service if:
    (a) Following suspension under clause 5.5, your Account remains inactive for a further period of 120 days without topping-up; or
    (b) You only use such part of the Service that is free."

You dont lose the £5 as you suggest because on top of the ongoing 200 minutes and 200 texts per month you get £5 credit.

You do lose anything you pay if the company suddenly disappears overnight, along with your phone number. Until this company is able to prove that their business model works, and brings enough advertisers on board to actually make money, there will always be a risk, albeit a very small one. As long as anyone is willing to risk a fiver, and is using a non-business critical number, then it is worth a go. But be prepared for it to all turn to dust, probably sooner rather than later. Hopefully after you can get at least £5 worth of usage from them.

Why would anyone use a business critical number on a "free" service? Surely anyone who does so is asking for it? :rotfl:

Well i signed up, sim arrived in a couple of days, i transferred my number and got £5 free credit for doing so.

Very good timing as my Voda contract is due for renewal and it was costing me £7.50 a month

I have just signed up and the sim card is working fine on an Iphone 3gs, the website was very useful to get the settings, much better than O2. It would be great for a non critical number, anyway it is only costing me £5!

Strange how this has been discussed very little considering it looks to be potentially one of the biggest money saving plans on the whole forum. Far better than signing up for spam in order to get free knickers etc etc

The most you can lose on this one is £5 credit if you stick to inclusive allowance. In the meantime your saving x amount a month.

Currently doing what it says on tin !!!:D

Hang on. Let me get this straight.
    - I sign up
    - Receive SIM
    - Open account/activate number, once I deposit £5
    - That's it. Nothing more, ever?

e.g From then on, every month/30days, I receive an allowance of whatever I've gone for i.e Phone/Tablet SIM and unless I go over my allowance I never give them another penny, ever again? i.e I don't lose the £5 that's deposited there e.g it would only ever run down if I made out of allowance calls and then, I'd have to top up with another £5.
If it's 'wiped' on the anniversary of the 30 days, then that's a £5 top up per month, by the 'back door', so to speak. (they don't explicitly say anything on how long the credit lasts. That I can find, anyway). Although, if as they say, one doesn't have to top up, every month that would indicate the credit just stays there. In perpetuity, or until used up.

    Argggg! brain, splurge.....

    Have I got that right?
