Problems with using vouchers bought through MightyDeals.co.uk

Options
Has anyone else had experience good or bad with voucher deals from Mighty Deals?
I purchased a voucher through them for a canvas print from Blue Amigo. I had also to pay separate postage and packing costs to the firm itself. The deal was stated as taking ten days to deliver but the time has passed and there has been no sign of the canvas being delivered. I have contacted Mighty Deals but cannot speak to anyone only leave an email which was responded to but just said they had contacted a person at the firm for the order to be processed.

  • I have had the exact same issue with this canvas from Blue Amigo and Mighty deals, I ordered on 18/4 and have still not received it.I emailed Blue Amigo directly at info@blueamigo.co.uk and have received a response but still no canvas! I was told last week that it was sent on 30th April and when I said it still hadn't arrived they were quick and helpful to respond and said they would reprint and send it out on Monday, it still hasn't arrived so I have emailed them again today. I'm starting to think I'll never see this canvas! Let me know if anyone actually does receive their order.
  • HURRAH - after two more emails, Blue Amigo did ring to discuss the problem of the canvas order. Actually they did ring back after leaving an answer on our answer machine. Said they had been very busy with orders and with a tweak of the picture sizing would send out the order this week. BUT IT ARRIVED TODAY !!! So thank-you Blue Amigo for getting it right eventually. The canvas is superb and well worth the wait. Tip - for Blue Amigo, send an email to your customers if there is going to be a delay, we will understand a genuine reason and you will keep your customers happy.
For anyone else having a difficulty complain both to the Mighty Deals site and to the firm itself, hopefully your problems will be sorted out. :)
  • I too have had problems with Blue Amigo. I bought the canvas codes via Mighty Deals but was unable to upload images through the link provided, after numerous emails I was able to send the images as attachments and then made another seperate payment for postage. Since then Nothing! No confirmation of payment, no estimated delivery date, no replies to emails, unable to get through to speak to anybody by phone despite Mighty Deals assuring me someone would be in touch. The codes were purchased in April and it is now nearly July so I am not optimistic about ever seeing my two canvas. I think they are just a scam site intent on ripping people off, only consolation is I might at least get my postage payment back as it was made via Paypal. I advise people not to use Blue Amigo.

I've the same problem with Blue Amigo but with vouchers bought through Gumtree Daily Deals. Submitted the photos in time but canvas never arrived - over a month now. Have been trying to call Blue Amigo but phone's always engaged or rings til reach voicemail which I left a messaged but they didn't call back so I've just opened a dispute on Paypal to get the postage back and sent a message to Gumtree to try to get the money from the vouchers back as well as they are now showing in my account as expired and unsued.
  • i too am having te same problem. Got my voucher through gumtree daily deals, upgraded to the larger canvas, paid the postage, uploaded the picture to the site. This was on May 1st, today is july 11th and still no canvas print. I have rung them constantly and it is always engaged and if not goes to answerphone where the never respond to the messages. i have left emails, again no response. have been in touch with gumtree and they are refunding my voucher money, but actually the postage was just as much and they cant refund that as was paid directly to blue amigo! Pretty sure its a scam, and i have asked gumtree to do something about as surely they should have some sort of responsibility to which companies they use on their site. Gumtree daily deals is closing down at the end of this week....
  • Has anyone had problems receiving their canvas print from Blue Amigo?? Purchased through KGB deals and postage costs paid straight to Blue Amigo, 3 months on and STILL have not received my item, I have emailed numerous times but they never reply and their phone line is constantly engaged. I am beginning to think this may be a fraudulent company?? Has anyone else had a bad (or even good) experience with Blue Amigo???

Is that a serious question?? or have you not read any of the thread you just posted in?
  • Yes it is a serious question, the difference being I used KGB recently rather than Gumtree or Mighty Deals. Perhaps you didn't read that part clearly enough to make an educated judgement and reply. Really appreciate your input, invaluable!
  • I bought two vouchers from Gumtree for 2no canvas. Placed the order back in May and still haven't received them. I've emailed them several times, once only getting a reply stating that they were really busy and I would get a discount voucher for use in the future. I have tried calling and emailing lots since and no reply. Gumtree daily deals has now ended business too. Where do we now stand with getting refunds for both the vouchers and the postage if Blue amigo aren't going to send us what we ordered? I've even moved house since I ordered them, and have told them my new address on several occassions. Bought the 2no canvas as a house warming present to my self - been in a for over a month now!
  • I finally did receive my canvas but it took a lot of emails to both Blue Amigo and Mighty Deals and most importantly actual telephone conversation which proved to be vital. It was a very long, frustrating and unpleasant process (3 months) but I have to be honest and say the quality of canvas is great for the price and they were even very helpful with editing, red eye removal and cropping etc. I would not use them again but if I can offer any advice it is to keep trying the telephone even though it does always seem busy.
