Good morning everyone,
Just a quicky from me this morning - DS has footie this morning, which he is very happy about, as the last few have been called off due to the weather (although last week was because the team was scared of our lads  ) So i will be joining dlb in the 'mad demented mum, screaming in a muddy field' - actually i quite like it, i get to chat to the other mums, and not seing many adults its nice to get a bit of adult company - just a shame its outside in the mud!
Then, must go to Mr Ts, need petrol (hope i have enough to make it to football) and i havnt been shopping for nearly 2 weeks (yea me:j ) just hope i dont spend too much - im going with a list, and im planning on sticking to it.
Right, must go, will be back later.
((HUGS)):grouphug: to anyone who wants/needs one xxx
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Godd morning everyone.
I've not been here for a while so nice to catch up.
n9eav - best wishes to your daughter.
bbabe - good luck with your pooly cat
jockettuk - glad you enjoyed your meal - It's my sons 21st soon but he's at uni so I'll miss him.
tiredmum - They messed us about with our bedroom - one tiny part delayed for no reason was the difference between happy customer and not!
Today will be spent making final choices about revamped kitchen - tiles, worksurfaces, plinth, floor, etc and I'm going to find it very stressful.
I've given up with my daffodil bulbs and am treating it as an experiment. My conclusion is that they flower very well if left in the net bag inside the paper bag on the patio wall for the winter!
Have a lovely day everyone.Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......

Morning All
It's a beautiful sunny day here in Edinburgh - and I've already got some washing out so feeling quite pleased with myself.
The next choice is whether to start gloss painting the skirting and door in the bathroom (new vinyl being laid on Thursday) or to start a 1500 word submission for an impending job interview - yikes.
On the upside a good friend is taking me to the ballet (Swan Lake) as part of my birthday this afternoon so that will be lovely.:j
Soba - good luck with the exam.
Hugs to all who need them today.0 -
Hi everyone :hello:
Haven't posted on this thread for ages because I keep getting caught by my boss at work! I'm at home today and I'm doing my family tree all day. I've got the weekend to myself as DD is at her dads for the weekend and my OH is at his mates having a boys weekend. So it's just me and the dog!
Hi to everyone I haven't spoken to for a while and a special :grouphug: to those of you that are having a hard time at the moment. Even though I can't post much anymore I do read your threads.
Have a great weekend :j
ps my stupid breadmaker still isn't working but I made the most delicious bread in the oven the other day! Yum. I had a reply from Morphy Richards and they told me to half the sugar content which should stop the burning - but how will that help it to rise? I think I bought a dud :mad:We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Do the job application during the day when your concentration is good! We did a job application for my OH the other day and it was 10pm we were knackered by then and I can only imagine the nonsense that we wrote on it by the end!I would gloss paint just before you go out for a while and not at night as the smell might be overpowering.
