OS daily Sat 10th march 2007

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 10/3.07. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

Well well well. No one up early today??? I could have started this an hour ago.

I spent the most pasrt of yesterday in hospital with my daughter (17). I hoped they would release her but they kept her in another night. She has a diabtetes related problem.
The staff have been great, but once you get on a ward then it's not so fast anymore.
She is now on a ward with 4 beds. all the other patients are 80 yr old ladies who stink of !!!!. Not very nice, but that's all the room there was... Should be out today.
On the good side, I walked in to town for lunch and bought a load of e-bay stock :D in a closing down sale.
I guess I will be heading back there today as they are clearing out the warehouse. I am going ot be rich I tell you!!!!!!!!!!
My fishing trip canclled today due to high seas, which is a real shame, but probably good considering hospital and shopping...
Good morning to all who follow. thanks for the hugs from yesterday.

Morning N9eav and all who follow :hello:

Haven't posted for a while, but have been reading and keeping up with you all

Just a big hug for Moggins and one for all the rest of you too.

Off to work in a bit, but looking at the weather forecast think I will get the WM going so OH can put it out later when he gets in.

Trying to decide if we should have a few days away the week after next, we are both off and I've not been that nice to OH lately so think that we should spend some 'quality' time together :D

Right must get a wriggle on, have to make pack up , get dressed and have aquick tidy up.

    Have a great weekend
Planning Chicken Fried Rice for tea - never made that before always from the Chinese but its one of OH's fav's - so wish me luck

Morning N9eav, Amanda666, dlb and all who follow: Crossed the start wtih N8eav so edited out.

Woke up at normal work time, so taking advantage while DH and visitors still asleep. I'm a natural morning person so love the time to myself early on, plus DH seems to need more sleep than I do!

Take care all, as probably won't be on later (((hugs))) where needed/wanted, and birthday/anniversary greetings to anyone celebrating .

    Morning all

Went out last night for a meal for my birthday and was soooo nice .. being on a diet or not diet so much just change of lifestyle and eating plans but when you go out all those ideas go out the window. not having to prepare it and wash up afterwards is the best.

oh and why does the chocolate indulgence afterward taste that wee bit more delicious when your not used to it hee hee..

right back onto the eating plan today and heading for my 3rd stone by end of march so fingers x for that one

im off now to get a cuppa so to all Have a nice day and enjoy the weekend im going to.. moany daughter off to her dads till tomorrow...... ahhhhh bliss

    Good morning everyone.

Hugs to all in need. I've not been able to visit the thread the last few days. My day to day life is so manic - I shouldn't have so many children! I feel like a headless chicken most of the time.

Celebrated DH's birthday on Thursday, we went out for a meal once the 2 littlest ones were tucked up in bed. The 3 oldest were left in the care of our 15yr DD - the threat to make them behave was DH not taking them to Leyton Orient for the next home game.

I've asked DH to take me a couple of junctions up the motorway to an NCT nearly new sale. He was busy texting all night on his phone then suggested that we went in 2 cars so he could drive on to an Orient away fixture. I pointed out that most of the week I am alone with 2 children under 2 years of age and I would like some adult conversation. He told me I was a killjoy so I went to bed to ponder my reasoning. Waking up this morning I still feel I am in the right. It will cost about £60 for tickets, petrol and parking. He is taking the 4 oldest to Centreparcs in 2 weeks time. There isn't another payday before he goes and cash will run out!

WM on, DW unloaded, SC on. Why do kids always wake up earlier at weekends? I have to put a rocket under them to get them out of bed on school days.
