So glad to see I'm not the only one...not having a perfect house...I won't allow anyone in mine either!!!DH is hoovering downstairs everyday but the polishing etc doesn't get done and no furniture moved...I'm managing to keep up with washing and nothing else at the moment so guess I will have to set myself some tasks..

Just been looking at the flylady and that is so not me! My theory at the moment is to sit outside as it's nice and when we come back it's dark so we can't see the mess - should work for a while :rotfl:

DH works from home and is blind to the mess in our house, he thinks the mystery cleaner picks stuff up after him. I may e-mail him the link for flylady...........:rolleyes:

I couldn't get on with flylady as I felt more of a failure so I joined the good enough club in the arms as its much more laid back. Seems to be working and I am now doing a little each day rather than being ovewhelmed by it.

i feel more at home here as well hypno looked a fly lady and ran screaming from the site had to sit down quielty and do deep breathing just to much for me to do...i'm currently working on the 15 minute bursts

I love flylady but only do 15 mins a day - and don't beat my self up if I can't do it. However, I think it's a combination of things on here, flylady and the need to sell/get rid of a lot of stuff in the house that's making me do it
