I get mine from Asda. I have to admit though that I don't find them as remarkable as some on OS would have led me to believe. Perhaps though that is more to do with the amount of grime they have to get through to find the worksurface or the floor in the first place!!

  • On the subject of Stardrops, can u dilute it down and use it like a multi-surface cleaner in a spray bottle?

Whatever cleaner I use, I always find it better if I mix it with elbow grease..... but can I find a bottle of elbow grease anywhere!?!:D

That's right doodledo. I really want my house to be nice and comfortable by Christmas so that I can enjoy it without the stress etc that being untidy brings!

So, as I have 6 rooms downstairs and 6 upstairs, and there are about 6 weeks til Christmas, I need to tackle 2 rooms each week, and KEEP THEM TIDY!!

Thems the rules! Good luck, and let us know how you are getting on. It may not be strictly debt related, but I think the stress of being untidy, does not help me deal with the stress of being in debt, and vice versa!!

Right, really really off to bed now!! Night all xx

Morning guys! I woke at 4am worrying about race entry deadlines for the kids's skiing  I should just have got up and logged on to find out the details, and put my mind at rest, but I knew that if I got up, and logged on, I would stay on MSE which is not good!

Instead I tried to go back to sleep.......bad move.....should just have got up and answered the questions and gone back to bed. As a result, I slept very badly (my own fault) and got up tired at 7

Oh well, another coffee or two and I will be ready to face the world......well, DS anyway! He is skiing this morning, then have to go and get DD from a sleepover..then home, lunch and crack on with this work that I need to do.

I also need need need to finish off my assignment - deadline is Tuesday, and I want to finish the kitchen off, and run the hoover round the bedroom now that I can actually see what colour the carpet is!!

So, a busy day.....I hope you all have a good one, and that those doing bits of the housework challenge have a very sparkly day!
