I think the only rule is that your home has to be remotely tidy by xmas!!!

Kc, hope you are not feeling too poorly. Make sure you get better properly otherwise you will be completely wiped out, and that will not achieve anything. The housework challenge has very few rules, so if you need extra time, it can be applied for via the external verifier and the examining board, when accompanied by the relevant form and £50.....

Taka, congrats on the win, however small it all helps! Hope the nose gets better soon.

Sarah, as Pania says, choose a room! We all have differing sizes of house with extra rooms or not! so, although I am committed to doing the en-suite and the kitchen this week, others may need/want to do another room depending on the practicalities of their lives/who sees what room etc!

Am about ready to go to bed...have made a hot water bottle to snuggle with :D Catch up with you all tomorrow xx

  • Ok, clean and *keep* clean (its the keep that'll be the challenge!).... I'll start with my kitchen because it's not too bad, and tomorrow is the end of the week (obv!).... might try for a bonus room too  I did get two bottle of Stardrops this week, so I'm armed and dangerous!!!;)
I'm also a 5 room house, with the usual handicaps (OH as mentioned, small child = toys/food everywhere, dog = toys/mud/hair everywhere)

I got mine from Sainsburys, but I found it with the multi-purpose cleaners (for some reason I thought it would be with the washing up liquid  Also, I believe they sell it in Wilko, just not my local one!
