    Hi Hypno

I'm just in the process of catching up with your diary - I am a few days behind at the moment.

Are you still collecting empty ink cartridges? Am I right in thinking it is only the branded ones you want?

I have a few cheapo ones but last night I switched on our PC for the first time in months (we usually use the laptop) and discovered that the black had run out (luckily I had a spare) so I took it out and it is an Epson. Would you like it? If so please pm me your address.

Speaking of which, I am setting myself a challenge, because it is soooooo long since I had one!!! It is my half term ebay/car boot challenge........I want to raise £100 from ebaying etc by the time the children go back to school a week on Monday. Very doable I think - just need to get my backside in gear! Watch this space :D

I'm certainly up for this one too:j . Unfortunately there's always a drawback when I get a plan (and not merely my inertia:rotfl: ). I like to end my eBay auctions on a Sunday evening but because of a lot of probs here at the moment I'm not going to get anything listed by this Sunday which is when they'd need to start for a 7-day auction:mad: . So I'm going to spend the beginning of next week uploading to Turbolister on eBay so they can start on Thursday evening and run for 10 days to end on Sunday 4th November.

Having said that though, my stuff is hardly treasure so maybe I'll just try 3-day auctions instead and end on Sunday 28th after all. I doubt longer exposure will entice more people to bid on any of my stuff:rolleyes:

    Sorry, didn't mean to hi-jack:o

I'm so jealous of you all. I want to join the £100 ebay challenge but I haven't got a working camera! So so frustrating. Does anyone want to sell me one? I'm not joking!

Imp, I get too impatient with a 7 day listing, and like you prefer to end on a Sunday so I normally list on a Tuesday with a 5-day listing :D
(3-days and it's over too quickly!)

5-day listings would be perfect but I've got a lot of other things to do and elderly relatives coming this afternoon to stay for a few days so won't be able to list more that a couple of things ready for Tuesday. Got to retrieve my camera from my neighbour for starters and they don't get back from holiday until Wednesday morning.

Will have a think if I know anyone else I could borrow an idiot-proof camera from. I really hate borrowing stuff, I worry myself stupid all the time I've got things on loan in case I break them or spill tea on them or whatever:o

Hi all! Well, my nice steady day has turned into anything but!!

The only things I had planned were to take DD to the doctor this morning, go to a "calm workshop" at the uni at lunchtime, and do a mystery shop and some last minute bits before the kids got home, then karate then bed then off to the airport.

    But.....the best laid plans.....

DD has been to the doc who says it is not asthma, but is also unlikely to be an infection......so needs more investigation.

Basically she has given two options.....don't go skiing and have a chest xray next week. Or go skiing, and go to a doctor in Austria, getting him to arrange chest xray in Austria!!!

So, having spoken to the head coach, he is happy to take DD to Austria, and to take her to the doc. But, I need a letter in German to take with me. My german is not good, having failed German O level twice many many years ago, so she now has an appointment with a German doctor 20 miles away at 5.30 to have another examination, but one that will result in the relevant medical request!!

All good fun.....and I am slightly more stressed at this point than I would like to be.....!!

Oh, and I still haven't got any currency for the kids to take - I have to send an extra 90 euros for the Doc when she gets there!!

I've got €10 on OH's bedside cabinet. (taken all his small change for my challenge :o ) and he can't use it.

What a pity you're leaving tomorrow before the postie could deliver it, you'd be welcome to it.

    Oh Hypno, what a worry!

And mixed messages from the doctor: it's not so serious that she can't go to Austria, but it is so serious that she can't wait a week for an x-ray. What are you meant to think?

Is she feeling well in herself and up to going away, and dealing with the pressure of training, as well as being away from mum?
