yes for my sins!!! i really, erm, hate it right now but can't leave to the money and the horrible horrible figure below!!!! did you enjoy it snaggles??
I did quite enjoy it, I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I find mortgages/securities really interesting! :o
Then they moved all the processing work to India though, and we were just left with answering the phones and trying to fend off the enormous numbers of complaints (mainly caused by said migration of work to India ), so I applied for an underwriters job instead and got out of there! Still not happy though....I really have no idea what I want to be when I grow up....:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Just got back from the doctors - DD, who is off at 2am on Saturday to Austria for some high altitude high intensity race training, has got a chest infection! Perfect timing!!!

Got to go back to the doctors tomorrow morning with her to see if it is likely to respond quickly or not.......why is life never straight forward

Really hope DD is ok Hypno is she asthmatic? I've noticed my asthmas got worse this week - must be the change in weather - as you say great timing.

Know we can't go into details but Karmacat (and Hypno) are you registered with TNS for mystery shopping? If you go to All visits on the allocation thing there are loads of bank related very easy jobs - just in case you haven't spotted them/got emails about them.

I'm off home now - I'll try and get on later!

    Hiya Hypno
Not been on much but thought i'd catch up. I'd agree with Yorkielass that asthma seems much worse this week - don't know if it's the cold weather. Hope your dd gets better quickly...talk about timing! Glad to hear you're enjoying your tutoring, I don't think i'd have the patience! Take care xx

    Evening hypno!

Awww GAWD DD chest infection! *LA shakes fist at sky*

I hope this can be sorted very quickly but gosh Saturday 2.00am ain't far away is it......

I wanted to say though, as I was catching up with your thread, that I am getting knocked around by the waves of energy coming over from Norwich! What a hive of activity and decision making!

Your bank accounts thing looks great on paper - I truly hope it works out well. Looking forward to finding out.

Keeping fingers, legs & eyes crossed for DD recovery.

Aargh! Infections! Hypno, I really hope dd is okay, fingers and toes crossed.

Yorkielass - ooh, thank you, no, I'm not with them. I'll check it out, I'm half watching tv to not do much, but its boring. Just been over there and filled in the online form - looks like they get in touch as and when. Thanks again!

Fishface - don't blame you, how you doing, I bet hypno would ask you if I didn't?

And LA, "waves of energy coming over from Norwich" - I love it, what an image!

No waves of energy here, tho I have done a bit because I don't want to do it over the weekend - got the compost out into the garden, got the rubbish into the bin, got the charity shop stuff in one place, really boring. But necessary. Now I'm hopping over to tns. Byeeee.

Hello! Thanks for the thoughts about DD - she used to be asthmatic, as a very young girl, lots of missed school as a result, but hasn't had a wheeze for about 6 years now!

I thought it had returned so got her to the docs to ask for some ventolin to take, but the doc thinks it sounds more like an infection. She has given her some ventolin to have today and in the morning but we have to go back for peak flow to be re-measured tomorrow and if no change then she will have to have antibiotics.

Problem is, that if it has been brought on by the cold weather - what happens when she gets to the glacier where they are training!!!

Oh well, we will know more tomorrow.

House looks a mess - surrounded by childrens stuff, some packed, some not!! Have a good evening all!!

Hypno, I'm really sorry, I cross posted with you earlier, and as I was saying I was glad you were having a good day, you were saying your daughter was ill......and of course my post appeared straight after yours, and now looks completely insensitive!

I really hope she gets better soon xxx

PS I have asthma too (mild) and mine is also much worse than usual at the moment. Usually I'm much better in winter than in summer, unless it's really windy, but I must have taken my inhaler about 8 times today.
