  • Aww Hypno. Poor you, you are having a tough yucky couple of days. I just want to send you some good luck vibes. I was like this last month and wondered how the hell I was going to last until payday but hey I got there and none of us starved. ( I could do with a bit of starvation for abour 6 months tbh :rotfl: ) Gets you down sometimes though BUT being strong women we allow ourselves a wee wallow and then get up and dust ourselves off and start again with renewed vigour. You go girl and I hope you are getting cashback for all those bank accounts. xx

well hypno, you do seem to be well organised with fixing your problems. You missed one thing though, the amount of money you'll save while the kids are away. knowing kids these day's you'll be able to halve your debt next week! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Only problem LJ, is that my kids are so used to going without, that there will not be a great deal of difference!!

    Oh well, onwards and upwards........!

Hey Hypno - was wondering - did your dd get any replies from her letters to local companies?

    thats the attitude to have!

in all honesty hypno, if there was one single person on here I had the utmost faith in it would be you. Just look at your signature!!! you are doing amazingly, which is why I was so stunned when I saw your soa and realised that on paper you have a negative income! yet somehow you've not only managed to pay off £10k of debt in nine and a half months (gedz it took me a year to clear 3k and in the end that was equity from a remortgage!) but you've also managed to make great inroads into saving up almost the same amount again to send your children off skiing.

I don't think there is anyone on here who will disagree when I say that you are the queen of moneysaving and a huge huge huge inspiration to everyone. It may seem like an uphill struggle at the moment, especially when you look at the figures on your soa, but remember to look at the figures in your signature and your kids excited faces as you pack them off for a week of peace and quiet (you and oh obviously, doubt your kids will have peace :D) and feel very proud of yourself.
