I think if you run a dishwasher fully loaded every other day v hand washing up three times a day and depending on how you heat your water there probably is an argument for it but there are lots of variables.
However what I want to know is why Australian washing powder is designed to wash in cold water yet over here 30-40 degrees is considered the norm and apparently our powders are designed to work with that.

Ooh the science behind housework!! Seems a good reason not to do any - it is all too technical!

Sorry to read that the colds are invading DFW! I have just, at the last minute, decided to cancel my 10.30 client - she is having chemo, and I cannot risk passing on so much as a sniffle to her. So although I have lost £50 by not seeing her, I cannot possibly run the risk of her being even more ill when her immune system is knocked by the chemo. Her next session of chemo is on Thursday and the hospital will send her home if she has a cold, so better this way.

So, I have an extra 45 mins to myself.....have got MSE back on.....and a cup of coffee by my side!!

P, I got your message, but today is really chocka - are you around tomorrow?

That's you all over, hypno, always putting others' needs before your own gain. What goes around comes around you know, and really good things will surely come your way. If anyone deserves to succeed its you, you're a star!

    Have a great day

Thanks Imp, although it is not anything special to me - I think that all the therapists on this site would have done the same thing really.

I have just managed to pick up a mystery shop for Friday - only £10 but still something is better than nothing!

I am in the mood for financial brainstorming and budget busting! But sadly I have so little time inbetween everything today that I can't run with the enthusiasm!!

Tomorrow the workshop I am down to run has been cancelled (another £80 gone  ) but it will give me the time to get brainstorming ahead of paydays etc at the end of the month, so hopefully we can get a little more organised on that front!

This week is turning out to be one of those weeks when I wonder why the heck I am self employed.

Turned away chemo client this morning - lost £50 (but very glad I turned her away as I don't for one minute want to give her my cold)

Went out to see client but got stuck in roadworks and was too late - client didn't have time to complete the session, so we never started - lost £20 plus travel costs.

Tomorrow's workshop has been cancelled - lost £80

So, from being a good week, I am now down to scraping by. I will be lucky if I have covered costs, and will not have made any money to pay towards the bills etc.

Oh the joys of being self employed.....

(am very fed up, but I guess you sort of know that!!)
