Oh no! Just read your post above! You have to be religious about having one place for it, thats what I've found. Good luck.

KC, I'm sorry you had a rubbish night - I hope you have a good day.

I have lots of online work to do today, so will be probably working in my dining room (as I now have a dining table to sit at that is not covered in piles of "stuff"). that way, I can be productive, yet never far from the kitchen and all it contains (eg the kettle!).

As for the diary, I am fairly sure that it is at home somewhere - I cannot think that I took it anywhere that I could leave it, so therefore it will turn up sometime.

I had not realised just how much I had come to rely on it!!

    Hi P & K,
I did a mystery shop last weekend that meant I ended up with a homeopathic remedy for migraines and a magazine with an article on how to manage migraines.
I used to have them frequently, and they were stress related but I saw a homeopathic practitioner and the stuff she gave me slowed them, and now I haven't had one in years:j I can't even remember what the stuff was called. :o

But you'd be welcome to the stuff I've got here, I get the money back for what I've spent, my boss told me the other day that I shouldn't keep using my own stamps! (he agreed that maybe for e-bay parcels I could :rotfl: ) so it wouldn't cost anything to post it to you if you pm your address. Or I could tell you the MS company and you could do another of their assignments?

    Morning Hypno and all,
Only been away from here for a day and look at all these posts...I'm glad your minds more at ease with accountant...eek to the loan repayments...I'd just ask the student about the money and if it will definitely be paid.Hope you find your diary soon...it's so annoying when you lose something isn't it? and have a relaxing day today

morning taxi! The student isn't responsible for the payment of the money as it comes directly from a central fund via one of the schools involved. They pay us every 4 weeks but seem to be a bit slow on the uptake for the first payment.

The payment after this one is due on 2nd October, so hopefully no problems from now on - I just need to get September's payment in!!

I hope you have a good day too x

  • Morning hypno! Fingers crossed your payment comes in today - that would be sooo unfair if it doesn't and causes 'bad ripples'. Don't they know who they are dealing with here!!!?

Also, maybe you could put your diary on one end of a piece of string and a pen on the other. Simply feed the string through your the top you are wearing and voila - you have a mitten-like 'never-lose' diary 'system'. You will find it - if you don't, I bet it will turn up when you start your new diary :)

Love the mittens idea for the diary - off to look for a piece of string right now so that when I find said diary I can attach it to me permanently!!
