used to do that with my pocket book when in the police got so many rollockings for leaving it places i got a dog chain, attached a key ring to either end, one end on my belt one end on the pocket book cover! had th emikey taken out of me mercilessly but hey it did the job and i never lost it again!!:D until the cover split.... and it fell off...:o
i guess tying it to the handle of your handbag so you can pop it in and know it'll always be in your bag isn't a bad idea. Have you found it yet? :rolleyes:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
no not found it yet, but then I am still working my way through the early morning coffee allocation required for active duties, so will start hunting again shortlySuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. morning hypno, I hope that diary turns up soon.
sympathies re the loan and anxious wait for the money as well - really hope that comes. I spend half my whole life waiting for much-needed cheques so know how gut-churning it is.
Hope you have a good day and make some more steps towards becoming a model of good organisation!
Re migraines - olive I'd be really interested to know about the migraine tablets. I'm a sufferer too, luckily only an occasional one, in my case they are mainly triggered by not eating enough the day before.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -
still not found my diary, but have decided to stop actively looking and it will hopefully just turn up randomly!
I have listed a couple of things on ebay, just going to do one more then off for coffee with Pania.
The post has arrived bringing me confirmation that my dormant Halifax current account which has caused me so many problems is finally CLOSED :j
Right, better get that last thing listed on ebay - I can almost hear Pania's kettle whistling!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi Hypno
Sorry to hear about your diary. In my experience things turn up when you are (a) not looking for them, and/or (b) you are looking for something else!
On the migraine front, I'd be interested to hear about other options for controlling them. I am a fellow sufferer and I am now being 'leaned' on by my Manager - I shall get in trouble if I don't actively try to find an effective treatment. Just what I need - doesn't she realise they are often stress related?!
There seems to be a strong hormonal element to mine - I always get headaches and/or migraines at a certain time of the month IYSWIM! I am a good girl and take my evening primrose oil every day which does seem to help, but it didn't work last week when I had my worst migraine ever - 2 whole days off work!
Take care of yourself!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Me, I'm not so good today. Was up at 3am in pain - how people with chronic pain cope I have no idea. Got onto the web and it screamed out to me (well, the computer was on mute, but you know what I mean:rotfl: ) - it was a migraine brought on by eating huge chunk of cheese yesterday evening. That'll learn me. It'll be a long, long time before I eat cow's milk cheese again. And the builder's suppliers have let them down, so the porch isn't up. I'm off to London at midday, so fortunately none of this will matter to me for the rest of the day.
We just have to keep plodding on - if I had a pain free day now I would be worried that something really horrible had happened!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Re Migraines, I don't know if this helps but I have suffered from Migraines since puberty, mostly hormonal, but sometimes caused by lack of sleep. I have found that acupuncture has virtually cured them - I have had only one in 18 months, and none even when going through the major hormonal upheaval of IVF. It may not work for everyone, but it certainly worked for me!!Live on £4000 a year again for 20110

I have to say that I am lucky enough to only have ever suffered from one very bad migraine and that was when I was pregnant, so a long long time ago.
My son though has them very badly, but they are adrenaline induced - when we are on holiday he is guaranteed to have them, and when he is skiing - not so good when he skis so much!! He is skiing in the British Champs this weekend so we are prepared for it!
We have found with him that the only way to stop the vomitting that accompanies it is to give him a HUGE dose of ibuprofen. He is then not sick, but he does pass out for a couple of hours. Once he is awake though he is fine and very very hungry!!
Thankfully he is now old enough to recognise the signs so we can get on top of it quite quickly.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
You should've seen the SIZE of the BAG hypno was carrying with ALL the chocolate in it!!! i thought she was off to start her own cadbury world!!!!!! he he he he he he he he he only kidding. :-)
poor DS with the migraine thingy, good he can recognise it. I find 3 anadin extra usual kick it into touch, if that doesn't do it i'm in for the long haul.
Ask the doctor for stemetil which is an anti sickness tablet, works like a dream and only need to take one when you feel the migraine coming on and know it's going to make you peuky.
Don't let the boss lean on you piggin, it is a recognised medical condition. sadly some people that don't suffer don't realise or have any empathy with just how debilitating they can be. xxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
