Am trying to give a decent link about the different areas, what they do and how to enhance them. Can anyone help me figure out how to do the link thing?

  • Wow - sooooooooooo much has happened since the last time I posted...and I could only really read the last few pages so heaven knows what I have missed.

But I will say hypno, well done on your progress....and your sudden bike related windfall!

I got the Egg card today by the way and have done a BT on my overdraft so just waiting for that to go through now. Then it's back to square one with hammering down a CC rather than a never ending overdraft! So the really tight budgeting starts now with every spare penny going to pay off the Egg card.....I feel an affinity with you all of a sudden! ;)

OK well I am going to be away from the boards for a while...by the time I get back on I am sure your diary will be around 700 pages long  so forgive me if I don't read it all and just come lumbering in somewhere asking how things are!

I think your diary is the e-equivalent of the popular, social house on the street where everyone is popping in all the time and the kettle's always on. Brilliant!

Take care - and long may your overpayments continue! :D

LOL at Looking Ahead's metaphor for my diary, but indeed the kettle is always on!!

Welcome Megatron - I hope you don't get too bored reading this diary! It is 3 years until the debt is gone, so I am sure you will be up to date by then!

Fletch, thanks for the links - will sit down and go through the various areas over the weekend!

JCD, how you doing girl? Have you got that next batch on ebay yet? Hope the cheque goes through on Monday x

Today, I have a couple of extra clients in this morning which is good because I will earn exactly the right amount after costs to pay for the Children's karate grading this afternoon!! OK, so they go into and come out of different "pots" but at least I know I sort of have a cost free day!

Have put a couple of tiddly matched bets on - only stand to make £10 profit, but that will be £10 I didn't have when I woke up this morning! Also got another £25 tracked in topcashback taking the total there to £245 which will hopefully be released before Christmas, adding to the £150 ish in Quidco - hopefully then £400 to come to me just from cashback over the next few months!!

Tomorrow I may do another trawl of the cashback sites to see what else I can find!

    Have a good day everyone!

Totally agree about the friendly e-house! Just looking at your next target, hypno, can't wait to see the OH's Egg card coming down, especially now you've got the student in. Good luck with the matched betting today.

Thanks KC! In reality I don't expect to get too much matched betting done today, but hopefully I will get a little done.

I set myself daily and weekly targets for everything - cashback, matched betting, ebay, client income etc and am a little behind on the matched betting requirements for the week, so need a little move on!

A couple of things finish on ebay tomorrow and I am behind in that target too - although if I count the sale of the bike we are well ahead! Really I need to get some more things listed over the weekend - ahh well, it will all help in the great decluttering scheme of things!

Hope you have a good weekend too x

:hello: Thanks! I have a few adminny things to do this morning - send money to my French bank account :wall: so the next mortgage payment doesn't get refused and land me with charges - tho I've left it a bit late, as usual, and it will be touch and go *again*..... and I *must* finally work out how much I've made for the Part Two Olympic Challenge so far, I've let it drift terribly. Bank a divvy cheque.... I'll have to go into town in the afternoon and do something fun as well, can't work all day Saturday too. I know, I'll go to the library :rotfl: oh yeah, I really live the high life!

Beats sitting in a school hall, stuffy and cramped, watching hundreds of kids do their karate grading! Our children will actually be grading for about 5 mins, yet we will be there all afternoon! Just hope they pass after all that!

Have just had a look at the link that Fletch posted above re feng shui and no wonder I am always in a muddle, I seem to be doing everything wrong!!

I will be having another read of it later, and may start making subtle (sledgehammer type subtle) changes.........;)

    Morning Hypno

Can i just ask how did your OH sell his bike. I have one and I am not sure how to go about selling it. I thought ebay maybe but I am a bit worried about ebay since a nigerian scammer 'bought' my last offering:confused:
