Absolutely brilliant...exactly what you should be doing...you only have a birthday once a year and you never spend anything on yourself...so good for you and your dad will be with you...I'm sure!!!!!...I've got the proms on in the background as well...
Can I ask you?...Hillarys blinds has tracked(not validated yet)...I put 4 choices of days in it as requested and they end monday...nobody has phoned me yet to make an appointment...so how does it work as it is a genuine enquiry as when I have new windows fitted I want blinds anyway...so wanted a rough price.....so what happens as I know you were waiting for them as well

My Hillarys blind chap never turned up although we did make an appointment. The cashback has validated though, so I am sure you will be fine in a few days. I bet Hillarys have never had so much interest!

You may remember I made an appearance a couple of weeks ago to say hi, I don't post much but always read your diary, I have started my own challenge of reducing my debts to 20K (from £31k +) by next August. Its a big ask, but reading your diary helps me stay focused and so far Im doing ok, I'll update my sig on 20th of this month - one month in!
I am glad you have decided to splash out on ther concert tickets, it reminds me that part of my £31k debt was paying for me and OH to see George Michael twice in the past year - an extravagance but we still talk about it all the time, they were such good concerts, and once the debt is gone, we'll always have the memories so I don't regret it one bit!

P.S - Ditto re: the proms - we are watching it and waving our imaginary flags!

I went to the last night of the proms once - had a fab fab fab time - still got the flag and the boater!! Will probably never get the chance to go again though, so will have to make do with the Telly.

Hi hypno - well done getting those tickets, I hope you have a fabulous time and a lovely birthday - well deserved after your very hard-working year. My little sister was mad on all those bands you mention and being a few years older I was very snooty about them. I did see Simple Minds once though, 1980 I think.

Anyway, since you're the fount of all wisdom.... my £50 in Topcashback from the V****n casino deal is still 'pending' two weeks after I did the deal. Is that right or should I worry? Sorry for asking you but you are always so knowledgeable and helpful!

My Hillarys blind chap DID call to make an appointment - they just didn't turn up for the appointment.

I did the V offer a couple of weeks before you, and mine is still shown as pending - basically I am working on the basis that it should come eventually, and if not, then I have lost nothing anyway! I have had a couple "confirm" really quickly, but others sat for ages as "pending". I have not yet got as far as anything being paid out, so not much further down the line of knowledge than you I'm afraid!
