Morning all! Last night's meal was lovely and FIL paid for everyone so we didn't have to pay a penny, making it even more lovely. I was quite emotional though and for some bizarre reason kept having a little weep. No idea why, but there you go. Sleep decided to evade me last night too, so am v.v. tired this morning.
So, yesterday I also took something back to woolies, getting a refund to my card of £4.75 and did a bit of cashback clicking which will bring some money in by Christmas.
Today I have a mystery shop to do, and it is quite some way away, so I am going to go on the bus rather than take the car and park it as I am sure it will work out cheaper. It will probably take longer, but I am going to give it a go. Then once I have got the children home from skiing, I have clients this evening, so another longish day.
I hope everyone else has a productive and enjoyable day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Good morning Hypno,
Glad to hear things are going well for you. Are you scheduling in any 'you' relaxing time, it's just the 'emotional' and the lack of sleep in your post made me wonder.
Not a lot happening at this end. Plodding along with matched betting, OH said "it's boring" and I agreed, so hopefully no potential gamblers here
Did manage to successfully claim some airline loyalty scheme miles that had been missed.
Opened a new current account for matched betting. Our current a/c was starting to look a bit silly with a page of bookies as the only transactions! So thought isolating it in a seperate account at a seperate bank would be better, especially as some places like to see a copy of a recent bank statement as proof of address.
Oh, if you're using Rpoints for cashback aswell as Quidco, last year when you got to VIP level you could spend I think upto £50 of points on Amazon (not marketplace) and get an extra discount ordering through their VIP scheme, we used to save the points and use for getting Christmas presents, or the January sales online. You can only see the info when you get to VIP level, and we're not VIPs at the moment so can't double check. But it's worth thinking about.
Have a good day.0 -
Hi Hypno, I am really glad you had a good time last night, you deserved it. Hope you don't cream-cracker yourself out too much today though, make time for a nice bath and relax later. Thanks for helping me with Quidco - it validated so I'm a happy bunny. have a good day xMFW

Hi se999, no "me" time available today, but will try and get some in somewhere as I know that I need it. Thank you for the concern x
I have not yet investigated rpoints - until recently I only used quidco, then a couple of weeks ago discovered topcashback, so next will be rpoints - thanks for the tips, every little helps.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Morning ATB, glad that gala validated easily - happy to help. £30 is pretty good cashback, even if you lose at the bingo (which I did!) then it is £20 easy money. You can do the same thing on topcashback for Mecca if you have not already got any sort of account with them.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I can recommend rpoints, we've used them for a couple of years. No problems, the cashback comes through quickly and they have dealt with queries without any problems so far. We've only just started to use quidco and topcashback, so not sure how good they'll be, Quidco seems to normally beat the others on cashback, but doesn't list some places. There are some Bingo and bookies sites on Rpoints but not Quidco, so it's worth checking as you work your way through.
I also do Pigsback and Ipoints, but they're rarely the best for cashback.
The only one I wouldn't recommend is Greasypalm, their cashback rates aren't good and our experience of their customer service was
Just realised how many sites we useWell with travelling a lot we do most of our shopping on the internet.
